Our first time trying Blondie’s Barn. After reading many reviews, we was eager to try it. Unfortunately and surprisingly, our food and our service were a huge disappointment. First, our server was very inattentive. She basically took our order and dropped it off and didn’t come back to see if we needed anything. We had to flag her down to try get to our hot tea that we ordered 20 minutes earlier. She responded by saying that she was busy and would get it shortly. We looked around the restaurant and saw 4 tables with customers, totaling 8 customers, including us — hmm…
Now about the food… I will say that the portions were generous. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap and a side salad. The salad was lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese. Unfortunately, the lettuce was starting to brown and didn’t look quite fresh. The chicken that was supposed to be grilled was deep fried. I tried it anyway, and after a couple of bites, I couldn’t eat anymore. It didn’t taste good. The chicken was very dry and tough to eat. My sister ordered an omelet and toast. The omelet tasted like burned eggs and the veggies inside were not cooked. She couldn’t eat it. She did like the rye toast though. Our server dropped our bill off on the table as she passed by without saying or asking if everything was alright.
We went to the counter with the bill and told the manager. He was very polite and said he was sorry. He only took 25% off the bill even though we barely ate the food. We paid, but we’ll never go back. We went somewhere else to eat. We would not recommend this place. However, that was our experience, maybe you would have a better one.

The chef provides close to a perfect breakfast with really good country style and slightly delightful, flavored coffee. Their pumpkin pancakes are good. Also, their Thanksgiving is scrumptious.

Been wanting to come here since I picked up a order for someone a while back. Looked like such an inviting environment and smelled delish and they were all like come on back and get you breakfast some day you won’t regret it. Well went there and it was pretty good maybe little longer cooking on the French toast but other then that delish and the coffee bar is a five star because I never get to get coffee anywhere at a sit down restaurant unless I bring my own creamer stuff I’m allergic to milk. They had almond milk so hurray for that.

The breakfast at this establishment was truly delightful. Our server, Jenn, was exceptionally courteous and provided invaluable assistance in selecting our food items. Despite the fact that our entire party had not yet arrived, she graciously offered to make any necessary changes to accommodate their preferences. Fortunately, no alterations were required. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to visiting again.

I’ve heard good things about this place so maybe I just caught them on an off day. The bacon was very greasy almost like that’s all you could taste. The Fry’s that came with the bacon cheeseburgers were also very oil tasting almost like old oil. I pulled the bacon off of the burger. Burger itself was okay. Unfortunately I will not be back.

This place simply feels like home. Coming to Michigan, I absolutely NEED to get not only the wet burrito from blondies but a latte…I crave it. Constantly. Love this place and the owners and family behind it.
