Any how it open seating no host. You pick up your menu in front and seat your self. The decor in this place is just beautiful I think.
They have a small menu but the food is just delicious. Curry was cooked to perfection. This place definitely gets put on as our new Thai spot. We will return and try the fried rice next time.
The food was great, we enjoyed the drunken noodles, pad Thai, and mango sticky rice.
Don’t expect sit down meal service as it’s not that type of place and do expect really good pricing of everything. We went around 4:30 and it wasn’t too busy, habing our food delivered to our table in about 10 minutes.
If I’m hungry and in the area I’ll definitely check out again!
Order at the counter then have a seat. There are tables outside too. I enjoyed looking at the art work and how cute they made everything look. From the tires to the bags of rice.
Food:
The famous Spinach Salad
Pad Thai with Fried Tofu
Garlic Spare Ribs
Mango Sticky Rice
Bottle of Wine
The spinach salad is a staple of Nittayas so it was a must that I order that. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce is the best. The Garlic Ribs were equally as delicious. The Pad Thai was also so good. The noodles were a but sticky but in a perfect way. The chew was there. The tofu had a nice char taste. Now, although everything was good, the only negative was the mango. The sticky rice was yummy but the mango was not sweet.
Overall, great spot and looking forward to returning with friends.
I had the chicken satay zero flavor. Four small skewers came with a tiny portion of rice.honestly looked like a kids meal.
I also tried the beef Pad Thai. Hard to mess this one up, right? Well, they did. The beef had a weird smell and taste.
On top of that, the prices don’t match the food or the “service” because… there’s no service, hehe.
Highly recommend to check out when in the neighborhood
The highlight for me was undoubtedly the Pad Thai. It had the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami flavors, wrapped in a delightful texture that only authentic Thai cooking can achieve. The garlic rice was aromatic and flavorful, serving as the perfect base to complement the rich tastes of the main dishes.
The egg rolls were crispy and delightful, and the drunken noodles packed just the right amount of spice to satisfy those who enjoy a bit of heat. Both dishes were exemplary of genuine Thai flavor.
Adding to the charm of Block 9 is its private outdoor patio. It’s a serene getaway where you can enjoy your meal accompanied by soothing music, which enhances the overall dining experience.
For anyone craving Thai cuisine with an authentic street food twist, Block 9 Thai Street Eats is a must-visit. Whether it’s for a quick meal or a leisurely dinner, you’ll leave with a taste of Thailand lingering on your palate.
