I was not a fan of the Chicken Biryani Bowl that I tried. While the food had colors that reminded me of Biryanis of the past, it lacked flavor, depth, and complexity, all the things that make up Indian food. The staff was nice and it did not take long to get my food, which is a good thing. Because of its location inside Legacy Hall, the atmosphere is great. Blist’r itself does not have any discernible atmosphere but does have lackluster food.

To start I will admit that overall this dish was great. Rice was cooked nicely, sauce was flavorful, and chicken was also cooked to perfection. My one complaint, however, would have to be the sauce:rice ratio. Any saucy rice eater knows how important it is to have a perfect S:R (sauce:rice) ratio. When considering both sides of the spectrum, I must say more sauce is more of a disaster than more rice. After all, are we eating a soup? Rice cereal? No, the rice is the glue that holds this all together; it is the base. More rice than sauce (only to a certain extent) is slightly excusable, though still not preferred. I think if you’re opening a restaurant with rice and sauce dishes you should be focusing on the S:R ratio. Trying to cut costs? I bet rice is the cheaper of the duo here. Just put a little more passion into the scoop. Other than that, it was great. Just know that this is important and a minor detail that goes a long way. Think about Chipotle and their S:R ratio.

We have tried the Blist’r on one of our firend’s recommendations but we were quiet disappointed by their wrap
We took grilled chicken naan wrap and it was nothing as we were told by our friends. First their chicken in wrap was cold and it lacks the flavours. Chicken was tasteless and little bit undercooked as well. The wrap was more like rumali roti rather than naan. and it was not even warmed and just wrapped and given to us. The wrap looks like a tikka gravy with rice wrapped in tortilla.
The most concerned area was their service, the server was looks like he was forced to do the job and was preparing our order unhappily.
I amnot going to coma again and not even to try any other their dishes .

[12/03/2022][$20] Butter chicken with potent sauce was delicious. curly fries and garlic naan were sabroso. Well worth a visit, and good value and taste.
We were here when USA lost to Nederland in FIFA 2022.

I ordered Paneer curry with rice from this restaurant, and honestly, it was one of the worst curries I’ve ever had. There was absolutely no flavor – it tasted nothing like authentic Indian food. The curry felt like it had tomato ketchup in it rather than real spices. Just bland and disappointing.
On top of that, the portion size was extremely small for the price. It’s hard to justify calling this place an Indian restaurant when the taste is nowhere close to what Indian food should be.
The service was equally poor. I was told to come back in 15 minutes to pick up my order, and I returned after about 20 minutes – only to find that my order wasn’t even made. They couldn’t find it in the system and only started preparing it once I arrived. Completely unprofessional.
Overall, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve paid for. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

I had the chicken tikka masala naan wrap. It was a good portion size, fresh and tasty, but I would have liked more tikka masala flavor. If you haven’t eaten much Indian cuisine, this might be just right for you. But, I’m accustomed to a more rich, full flavor. Next time, I might try a bowl to see if it’s more flavorful.

I really like the Paneer Vindaloo wrap. Good flavor. I’ve had the vegetable samosas and they come out a little oily. I’ve had the chili potatoes before and they are OK, but those are overpriced for what they are. Quick service. Overall, still one of my favorites at Legacy Hall.

The Samosas were soaked in oil although the filling was ok. The tikka masala had no flavour. In a place like Plano where there are so many great indian options this was by far the worst in terms of quality and quantity.

Tried chicken tikka with cheese stuffed garlic nan , the chicken was juicy and the curry sauce had the right amount of spices. Ask for extra ranch sauce to dip your cheesey nana . Would recommend

The beef samosas were huge!!! The mint sauce was on point. The garlic naan could have used a little more ghee and garlic. It was still delicious. The paneer Marsala was delicious. The biryani rice was delicious. The mango and yogurt drink was very delicious. The paper straw takes away some of the taste, and gives you a paper after taste…
