The braided crust made this pizza stand out but the flavors were just about average. It’s good pizza, but I wouldn’t say it’s outstanding. The service however, was outstanding. I ordered the pizza ahead of time (on a Friday night) and it was ready when I arrived. The cashier also gave me paper plates, utensils, and parmesan/pepper flakes which was super nice. Great pizza for takeout, but don’t expect top-notch flavors.

Definitely one of, if not, the best pizza spots in Portland. One thing I have to stress to future customers, you’ll be better off dining in or ordering at the parlor, in person, to go. Reason being, for whatever reason, quality suffers when they honor third party delivery apps. Most of the time, if I put in a Postmates order, the pizza doesn’t have the extra toppings or garlic spread on the crust as expected. It’s a small thing, but it’s happened enough that it’s worth mentioning.

Blind Onion has opened a second location, in the space formerly occupied by Cheese Bar. They have very sensibly made few changes to a very nice space. The biggest change that I noticed was a new mural on the east wall.
I paid my first visit on a night that they were donating part of their proceeds to the local middle school. It’s wonderful to see Blind Onion establishing themselves as good neighbors.
As for the food, it remains the solid pub style pizza that I recall from their original location. The crust is neither thick nor thin, browned nicely on the bottom without being charred, and beautifully rolled around the perimeter, with a lovely amount of chewiness.
One thing to be aware of: the menu and pricing are very clearly laid out on the website, and when I attempted to create a pickup order online, the pricing was noticeably higher. I cancelled the online transaction and simply called in my order instead, where I was charged the prices indicated on the site. My guess is that the price discrepancy was generated by a delivery service, which, in the case of my takeout order, would have provided no added value at all.

This was my first time visiting this location. The interior is pretty cozy, with a few tables inside for dining. They also have some board games to play if you decide to spend a longer period of time in the restaurant. The staff here was pretty nice and took our order pretty quickly at the counter. I ordered a slice of their pizza week special and was happy with it. I liked how their crust is a bot different from others. It has a softer and chewy texture to it. Overall, it was a good experience here.

I really don’t understand the hype for this place. The pizza is average at best. The crust is soft but flavorless and the sauce is one-note. Normally I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but the order was expensive and I don’t really want to eat it.
I requested vegan cheese on the cheesy bread and it came with regular cheese, so it is inedible. It actually looks pretty good, so that’s a bummer.
I also ordered garlic chips and received what looks like another version of cheesy bread, again with regular cheese. I guess that’s my fault for ordering something without a description (I ordered via Postmates) and assuming it to be what is normally considered garlic chips.
I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading all the stellar reviews! Sadly I’m quite disappointed.

Great pizza and oven baked sandwich, pepperoni pizza, Bbq chicken pizza, and the Sicilian sandwich. The pizza had a great undercarriage.
Friendly staff!
Thanks, you made the day for someone in the rehab center much better

Came here to escape the cruel hardships the world has place upon me, hoping and praying that a slice would give my life meaning again but alas I was proven wrong. My slice looked like frozen pizza and was dripping so much oil that I could write my name with it. My girlfriends slice was just an inch of cheese with dry veggies that had been sitting there for hours. When we walked in they literally turned on the heating light for the pizza but before hand it had been off for who knows how long (health code violation).
We’ve been mourning the loss of a young family member and honestly… this just made everything worst. Might have a break down later. I feel sick to my stomach, and not because I’m lactose intolerant but because I’m allergic to dairy. I’ve never had pizza this wack, honestly 7/11 has better, more authentic Italian pizza. They did have my girlfriends favorite beer tho.

Googled pizza near me and picked this place from the results, based on ratings and images. I got the Hawaiian and added fresh garlic. So good that I ate one more than I needed to. It’s super delicious next day too.

The pizza was pretty good but I don’t like how there was automatic gratuity added to the order. I didn’t dine in and I didn’t have the pizza delivered. If the pizza costs that much then just price it accordingly on the menu.

Food was great, hard to find a good pizza with large amount of toppings. Person with the dreads at the front had a real good vibe too.
