We source our ingredients for our beer as well as our food as locally and organically as possible. Sometimes we grow it ourselves! Our beer is incorporated in a few of our food recipes. Independently owned and operated, Blind Bat Brewery was established in 2008 as a small part-time operation, we opened our casual Brewery Bistro in 2019. Outdoor seating is available depending on the weather. Our menu features grass-fed beef burgers, organic turkey burgers, house-made organic black bean burgers, house-made pierogi, duck fat fries, duck fat fried chicken sandwiches, a wide variety of soup, and a number of vegetarian and vegan options.

Their giant beer pretzels and house made mustard ; artichoke cashew spread ; kale
Caesar salad Gochujang chickpea wrap were all DELICIOUS!
Pretzels and wraps made entirely from scratch
Can’t wait to go back for more and to try some
of their MANY other vegan options!
(Pic of pretzel and artichoke spread was an afterthought !)
AND they make GREAT BEER!
The good:
The beers. We had the stout and the hefeweizen.
Sustainability. They use compostable plates, cups, utensils. Their veggies are organic.
The bad:
Visually, it struggles with an identity. Bright blue floors and tiles clash with plastic bats stuck to the ceiling. No other bats in sight! I ordered some guacamole and was told they were making ‘a fresh batch just for me.’ I was happy to know it would be extra fresh. Unfortunately, I got chopped avocado mixed with garlic and onions but missing the tomatoes described on the menu. He then took a precooked and pre-portioned mac and cheese from the window to heat up for my entree. My husband ordered a smash burger with cheese and some oven fried potatoes. My mac was very small for $9.50. My husband’s burger patty was small enough to be served on an English muffin and the side of macaroni salad was exactly 1 forkful. They forgot to add cheese. They forgot about our potatoes. The server informed us “there was a communication issue.”
I really want to like this place but there’s a lot that needs improvement.
Price per person: …
Pretzel/pierog thing, pretzel (way more taste than a typical pub pretzel, bit sweet NOT sugary), and the jackfruit sammy.
Again not looking up the menu for exact names sorry but all fantastic. Followed up with a pint of the beach blonde.
Space is sweet. Grabbed the nice nook. Books to page and lots of local CSA, farm stand, bird/wildlife pamphlets to check out.
I’m so happy we spotted this on our “near me” search and stopped by. Wish I was back tomorrow (SUN) for the pierogi.
Also good music and awesome peeps running the place.
