I started my meal with a small basket of tempura-fried calamari strips, perfectly cooked with outstanding flavor. The sauce was equally exceptional. Both tangy and savory.
Next I had the Tuna Tower. Spicy tuna, avocado, seaweed salad, and black tobiko all placed on top of sushi rice. Every layer delivered bold, fresh flavors that made it an absolute standout.
My favorite (and I admit my yellowtail bias plays a role here) was the Hamachi Lover Maki, one of their signature rolls. This consisted of yellowtail, mango, yuzu soy, jalapeño, spicy mayo, and kabayaki sauce. Each bite was a flavor explosion!
The staff was all incredibly attentive and friendly throughout my time there, good staff can really make the entire experience better. I will definitely return, highly recommended.

This place has not been here for very long. It took the place of my favorite taco shop! After the first time, I tried it I was OK with it. The food is really good. The place is really clean and there’s always plenty of parking. You never have to wait very long for a meal. As a realtor driving around Bedford this is the best place to stop and get lunch.

If you’re looking for an “authentic” Japanese food, I highly recommend this place. Bleu bear offers the high quality sashimi and creative rolls. The fish They also use real wasabi (not the one from the powder).
Fantastic customer service.

My first time here and I have to say I was highly impressed. The Omakase was absolutely amazing and the flavors so unique. The staff are so kind and offered great recommendations for sushi options not included in the Omakase. If you are looking for a wonderful sushi experience definitely stop by.

Great for quick lunch sushi. I really appreciate the availability of a gluten free menu and tamari. The rolls are only 6 pieces opposed to 8 and many other places but prices are good enough to make up for the difference.

Amazing service and fun vibe. Sushi was a 9 out of 10.
Clean and light atmosphere. Good jazzy music and the ground coming in and out were treated like the sitcom of cheers. Great people and very reasonably priced! You won’t regret trying Blue Bear, I know we will be coming back!

First visit here and really loved the food. The sweet potato fries and roll were both 10/10. Everything tasted amazing just down a star bc I got maybe 4/5 calamari’s total and no wonton chips with the tuna tower was a let down. Can’t wait to try more here

This place came HIGHLY recommended and it did not disappoint!! Nice calming vibes with some jazz music, great drinks, amazing Nigiri, Sashimi, and Rolls. The Che’s Amakase was brilliant as well! We came here and were well-fed and for a good price, with great service as well! So excited that I’ve moved only 8 minutes from this place – it will now be a household favourite!

First time trying Bleu Bear Sushi and it was actually pretty good! The nigori was alright, but I really liked their rolls especially the Wagyu Lover Roll, definitely my fave and it’s even part of their happy hour . It’s a small spot but super cute for Bedford. I’d come back to try more rolls for sure
