A small place that sits at least 12 guests, but they have some space to set up one or two more tables that can sit 4 per table.
I ate jollof rice with fried plantains, which was very nice though I would have loved it to be spicy. ️

This is authentic African foods. The restaurant has an alternate menu of grilled and fried fish and chicken. Eru&Fufu, boiled and fried plantain, goat stew, cassava leaves&rice. Sides include spinach&collard mix, Jellof rice, black beans, Bobolo, and more options.
The food choices I’ve had were seasoned well (grilled chicken, curry goat stew, fried Tilapia, French fries, and fried plantain.
Check their website for more options if you order catering.
Highly recommended.

Got a fried croaker platter with collard greens and boiled plantain. The food was cooked very well. The collards were DELICIOUS. The croaker was a bit bland, I had to eat it with the collards and add pepper sauce. Service was pleasant. The area at the register/counter could use some touching up to make it look more like a restaurant. I will return as I see great reviews about the stews.

I’ve been passing this place for months now, I was glad I finally tried Blessed Hands today! Being west African I knew what to expect from the dishes they offer, and I must say they did not disappoint. The Potato leaves were delicious as was the other items I ordered for myself and family. Aside from the food, I was pleased with the service as well. Granted the young man didn’t seem the most familiar with what was available at the time of my order.. he was sure to check with the chef instead of giving me any old response. He was polite and even offered to help me take my order to the car because it was a large bag. There was a slight miscommunication with my order that I noticed once I got to my car. Having two small children in the car asleep , I didn’t want to make another dash inside. Their response to accommodate the miscommunication with a replacement side was already a plus, but to have the chef/ owner (I assume) bring it out To me at the car because of my situation with the small children was very admirable. He didn’t have to and “curbside pickup” is not a feature they currently offer, so it was Done out of kindness and consideration . I appreciate this establishment , and I’m glad the food was so good because I will certainly be returning !

The jollof rice had absolutely no flavor And there was no stew on top there was no chicken there was no vegetables. The egysi soup was great and the plantain was pretty good 4/5. I just thank whoever’s cooking the jollof rice needs to go Senagal or Sierra Leone to study. It isn’t bad it’s definitely edible however I’ve never tasted more boring jollof rice It really tastes just like white rice like what they give you at the Chinese food place. And if you’re going to make flavorless rice like that you really should serve it with stew or chicken or put some mixed veggies in there… However the Egusi soup was really good they don’t give you enough utensils unless you ask for them which is kind of annoying but overall good food

Wow, my sister and I after attending a meeting were going to take a ride to Baltimore but changed our mind. I stated to her I want some African food. I looked up some African restaurants and saw this restaurant. Entering the restaurant we talked with Blessing, ordered to go Fried Plantains, Fufu, Spinach/Collard mix, Egusi Soup & Curry Chicken. I wasn’t impressed with the Fried Plantain but the rest of our order, My Goodness, it was off the chain Delishious I mean Delishious. We can’t wait to go back. Blessing was very helpful and sweet. Blessing keep doing what you’re doing and may God continue to Bless you and increase your business.

Oh my lord. I was desperately seeking Egusi and didn’t want to drive too far so I searched and found this diamond in the rough. I ended up ordering the Curry Goat Stew and decided to taste it in my car. WHY OH WHY did I do that. I ended up going back into the restaurant to enjoy my meal with a side of spinach and that truly delicious ginger and honey drink.

And on top of that the lady (D) was very patient and kind when I asked 20 questions before I even decided to dine with them. Very nice vibes and I love that!

I shall return next week and will be hiring them to cater my next event.

Thank you Blessed Hands
