Delicious, inexpensive pizza slices served instantly. Great start or end to a bike ride.
4 months later: repeat bike trip, this time the middle of a bike trip. Service still fast and attentive. Pizza still excellent. This time I added an excellent huckleberry shake.

Love this place. It still has that old school charm that you only get from a community full of love. Service is a little slow, but most of us don’t mind because that’s kind of the point. And the wait is 100% worth it.
After frequenting multiple times over the last two years and trying as many of the options from the menu as we can, I am willing to say confidently from grinders to homestyle pies, nothing misses here. But I will warn you they are HOMESTYLE pies. So the crust is soft and bready and I suspect similar to the grinder bread. They are somewhat lighter fare.
They’re not exactly the same as greasy, yeasty poofed traditional American pizzas like what you get from Red Pepper down the road. So be warned, they are good in their own way, but may not be what you’re expecting as far as pizza goes.
However we don’t mind this and for what they’re worth they are delicious in their own way.
Service is.. Interesting, they do have a lot of younger and teenaged age people working there. So I think they can be a little standoffish at first, as teenagers are, but if you get to know them I suspect they’re nice kids. The older adults who we see from time to time seem really nice and friendly.

I absolutely LOVE Blake’s Pizzeria, and stop by for slices every time I’m in town. That said, I have a very hard time going back to a place where I was treated rudely. It leaves me feeling too uncomfortable to visit again as it’s just hurtful and I’m tired of living in a world where people continually disregard the fact that we have feelings. The blonde woman at the counter may have been having a bad day or something, but she was nice to others and very short and rude to me the whole time. I went out of my way to be nice and to say “Have a nice day,” but left feeling like I didn’t even want to eat my slices.
I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I think it’s time we started treating others like people, people who have feelings.

One of my favorite pizza spots. The wait is never long when I call in for pick up and the food is always fantastic. Whether it’s the pizza or grinder sandwiches, Blake’s always leaves me more than happy.

came in today while working nearby for a slice of two and I have to say I’m very happy with the food.
big slices, crusty yet soft n chewy crust, toppings (got gourmet) were large and stood up for themselves yet worked well together. sauce is good but a litte sweet, the onions helps with curving this.
super fast service, walked in and was greeted and served within minutes.
If i had the time i would’ve ate in and played a game or two of pinball.

Blake’s is intimate, old-timey, and charming, with exactly 3 indoor tables. Specializing in pizza, grinders (sandwiches), and ice cream; this is an excellent stop for a quick pick-me-up lunch. Pizza slices are giant, so large that the cashier thought that ordering 2 slices meant one for each of us. Available toppings are abundant, with at least 20 for you to choose from.
I ordered a meatball sub which came with chips and a pickle. The sub was toasted crisp, meatballs soft and tender with herbs mixed in, and topped with cheese, onions, and peppers. A satisfying sandwich that threatens to lure you to sleep.
Will come back soon for the ice cream and shakes.

Hoping we just came on an off day first time trying this place got the boulder bbq pizza: crust was thin and flavorless, almost no sauce, vegetables on pizza undercooked, pieces of garlic overpowering. Very surprised by the general positive reviews.

How does this place pass any health inspections? Interior is dirty and dim. Some lights are not working. Light fixtures look like they have collected years of dirt and bugs. Tables are chipped and dirty. I got a small pizza. The cheese was so thick I couldn’t chew it. Crust soggy. I ordered the brew haha shake because the review photo made it look so good. What I got looked nothing like it. When I asked about it I was told my shake contained the same ingredients but they made the prettier shake for a photo op. What?!? I’m posting photos of what the review showed v. what I received. I was charged more than listed menu prices on two of three items ordered. Are all those positive reviews fake? I would not return.

Came in for a few slices on a cold day, and was amazed with the quality and price for the meal! The sauce goes head to head with that classic NY pizzeria taste! You have to try the shakes too, the eggnog shake is incredibly good!
