I’m from Texas so I’ve never had alotaburger and wanted to try new food, well I got the New Mexico style burger and got to my hotel room and only to find out that these 2 patties were still raw. I get it ppl eat food like that but I didn’t think I had to tell them I wanted my patties “well done” jus a bad experience over all but my strawberry milkshake was the best shake I’ve ever had! Will not be trying alotaburger anymore

Blakes wasn’t busy while we were there. I ordered a lotaburger with ketchup, pickles, onions and ketchup. I waited 5 minutes and got a cheeseburger with mustard. I explained that was not what I ordered that I hate mustard. I even said that when I ordered my burger. They were NOT happy that I wanted what I ordered. I waited another 5 minutes and got a cold burger with black lettuce on it. Will not go back. Service was terrible and the food was horrible.

I’m old enough to remember when Blake’s was GOOD. Today, nah. I ordered a chicken tenders kids meal and a Lotaburger. Picked up in drive-thru, but had to honk 3 separate times to get the attention of the worker in order to request the kids meal drink. No “sorry” when it was handed to me.
The fries had a good flavor, but were cold and most were flabby.
The Lotaburger was awful. I hope the coyotes enjoyed it after I tossed out the window. The bread was tough and stale. The meat was incredibly overcooked and dry. The lettuce was one limp leaf. Are the burgers now provided dry? No mustard? Mine had none.
At least the chicken tenders were enjoyed.

The onion rings were great, but the frito chili pie was horrible. First off, there was no chili but mostly chips and dry cheese. I would not recommend. I have gotten their burgers before and they were very good. But their service is terrible and you don’t always get everything you order.

We enjoyed the meal at Blake’s the other day. The wait was long, as expected. The food took longer than expected to come out.
The temperature of the food was appropriate, the taste was good, and the appearance was fine.
The chicken strips were quite tasty and surprisingly juicy. Nice crisp on the outside. Two were average size and the third one was quite small. Hopefully there can be more consistency with the portions.
We had a couple items that were missing from the order. That’s always super frustrating when you’ve spent time and money waiting for them. I’m guessing that the business of the first month may have contributed to the missing items being overlooked.
Overall a good experience.

Blake’s has been getting a bad rap for decreasing quality lately so I didn’t expect much from my first burger there in years (normally I stick to burritos)… I dunno who was cooking tonight, but I was given a green chile cheeseburger so good it would feel at home at a sit down restaurant in Santa Fe. Kudos!
Unfortunately removing a star cause I’m now two for two getting a VERY upset stomach from this location which hasn’t happened elsewhere – bad luck I guess 🙁

Not really that impressive of a place. The menu is pretty simple and the prices are average. We were really disappointed with the shake and dessert menu. Truly anticipated more.

It’s a very clean and contemporary burger joint. The burgers are typical of any burger joints I’ve been to and it is enjoyable.
It’s the atmosphere and clean ambiance that gives the place it’s appeal. It’s not always busy, but I think hungry diners underestimate this part of the experience. It’s kinda but Wes Anderson-like.
It’s a great “First Date” spot cause it’s nice, simple, quiet, and clean. Very “instagramable” especially if you guys want to create some memories.

I liked your burgers. I have not had all the food yet but the breakfast burrito with the crunchy egg shells wad really disappointing I never had my feelings hurt behind food but you did it. I now know not to request breakfast but my burger hasn’t been a disappointment yet

Delicious food, friendly service, and is a NM staple. Glad to have them in our little town of Clovis. Granted, because of them being new, the traffic has become a nightmare at high traffic times like lunch and dinner time. Try to get there on off peak hours. The food wouldn’t be as rushed and it will be ready with very little wait. It will settle down just like Starbucks just next door.
