They are using a different style of bun. Not a bad change. I always order with cheese and chili sauce. Put the chili sauce on the side. Very SPICY HOT, on the side,let’s us control the amount of chili. Very good meal for lunch or dinner. Natural cut fries. Breakfast burritos are served all day long..

I love Lotaburger as a native New Mexican, and whenever I have to travel through NM, I like stopping at Gallup to go to this location. They always cook well, serve it promptly and have clean bathrooms and eating area. The parking is easy to navigate and they offer a drive thru as well. Lots of seating too. The staff are kind, patient and helpful. Definetly a nice place to sit down and eat while you’re traveling. The green chili cheeseburger combo is a classic entry in the menu especially if you’ve never been here before.

I placed an online order here twenty minutes prior to arrival and then went to the register where I waited in line for 10 minutes. When I finally got to the register they told me my order was not ready. After waiting in the restaurant for twenty minutes I got in line again and they pulled my order out from the counter and gave it to me. It had been ready the ENTIRE time. TERRIBLE ORGANIZATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND EAT ELSEWHERE! Maybe it’s time for a new crew or an uptraining for your staff. Do better New Mexico. Never coming back here.

So after the restaurant we had planned on going to was closed, we stopped at Blake’s Lotaburger. It happened to be national onion ring day, so we chose onion rings. I had a chicken sandwich with hatch green chili added and my husband had a New Mexican style lotaburger with a chocolate shake. The food was amazing, the onion rings were so good, and the hatch green chilies on each sandwich were perfection. I would recommend and will eat there again when in Gallup.

First visit to a Blake’s and I was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a carne adovada burrito with red chile sauce and cheese, which was very tasty, for $5.79. Clean restaurant, food prepped in the open so you can see everything. I will definitely be back!

This is by far the worst lotaburger in town for breakfast. They skimp on hashbrowns and chile. You waste 6 dollars on a tiny little tasteless deformed burrito.
I think they need to retrain employees or make the receipt easier to understand. I ordered extra chile and extra hashbrowns. After looking at the receipt, I can somewhat understand how it doesn’t look like “add extra hashbrowns and chile”

Update 2025 my freaking coffe is either cold or a warm cold it’s NOT STEAMING HOT. [4/25/25] Every time I visit this location it’s always no COFFEE or it’s not HOT and its a luke WARM COFFEE.
Depending on what time I get here they make good burrtios but if there in a rush sometimes they burrito come out kind of crappy or the bread will be falling apart cuz they warmed it up too much or it will have to much patotoes.
2020 nobody picking up the phone no fountain drinks and out the 7 employees here only one person was willing to help me complete my order the other 6 were just being plain lazy.
