“New Mexico Style” LOTA Burger Meal
“New Mexico Style” LOTA Burger, KETCHUP, NO ONION, LARGE SEASONED FRIES, MEDIUM DRINK, DR. PEPPER for 13.49
And I expected to receive what I ordered but instead I receive a plain burger (see attached photo).
When I tried to get my order fixed team members were rude and told me only the manager could fix it and to call him.
I tried call the number they provided which was the restaurants number. I was forwarded to voicemail each time.
It’s very disappointing to see the service of Blakes go down hill.
What worse is this is supposed to be the model restaurant given that their corporate office is next door.
Goes to show a managing system error in the restaurant chain.

Food was delicious as always. However, when I asked Jorge if he could split our payment, he gave up right away and told us he needed a manager. Jorge, who was taking our payment wearing a manager tag on his shirt, couldn’t be bothered to take some extra time to help us with payment. It’s okay to think outside the box from time to time!

The workers were really nice and funny lol but I did pay extra for extra, EXTRA hashbrowns and I got not even a scoop lol I also asked for extra bacon and only got one slice I hope they give what we pay for next time! Other than that I would rate it a 8/10!

I used the Online Ordering feature on Blake’s website. It was ordering from the San Antonio location in the NE heights. The delivery driver was late, handed me the someone else’s order, (GENE R.) and when I stopped him, he said my order was stolen by the previous driver and I would have to contact the store for a refund. I didn’t accept Gene’s order though it was offered to me. And when I called the store on San Pedro, no one picks up. I’m placed on hold for about 2 minutes, then get disconnected with a busy signal. I then called the corporate office, and was pushed to voicemail. It’s sad to see an ABQ mainstay has turned into such terrible service.

I had a call in order for a burger and a shake upon arrival. My shake was wrong and I Told the lady it was wrong and it was the same shake on the receipt and instead of her trying to fix it and being good with customer service she just was like wow that’s what’s on the receipt and gave me my food upon getting to my house to eat the food. I ordered a burger with no mustard no onions and there are onions and mustard on my burger. this place sucks and their customer service sucks.

Lota burger turned out to be a kiddy burger, no mustard, no chilie a spot of orange (cheese?), one small lettuce sliver, one thin slice tomato & an onion round or 2, no pickles!
I don’t know what that was but it wasn’t worthy of being called “Lota.” I don’t even want to mention the rest of the order— it was just so disappointing.

Only reason I have 5 stars is I may have miss the morning rush or got in at a good time. Was able to order a burrito. Had to get my NM green Chile fix as well and thank you for the food and hope this post helps.

First Lotaburger I ate at 37 years ago, still great! Debbie runs a friendly crew that gets the food out fast, hot, and made just right. She was training a new employee today and it was great to hear how patient and careful she was in training her young worker. This the best Lotaburger in town and an exemplar for how they should operate and look. I love the small size—it’s a throwback to long gone years, but a throwback worth preserving. #NewMexicoTrue #BlakesLotaburgerIsTheBest
