We stopped here on our way home from taking a drive. This was the best burger we’ve had in a really long time. The Blake’s in Albuquerque haven’t been very good for a couple of years now, but the burgers we got in Moriarty were exactly the way they’re supposed to taste! And they looked beautiful too! Clearly the people working not only cook well, they take pride in their presentation too!

We wanted to try a chain restaurant that is only here in New Mexico and we stumbled upon this chain on the historical Route 66. Glad we stopped by. It was the best meal I’ve had on the trip! Chicken was juicy and breaded so nicely. I was shocked how tasty the pina colada was and the small chunks of pineapple hit the spot. It’s limited time only. So get your fill!

If you actually want what you order, and not to risk food poising stay clear. I really think the employees here couldn’t survive on their own. We have tried over and over to get a good meal from. Gere but every single time it’s messed up. Tonight we tried to get dinner, they gave us the wrong thing twice and told us we should just be happy we ended up with more than we ordered, ended up leaving without the food we ordered and no refund because the genius behind the counter thought that it all balanced out….except the part where we where told to be happy to get more food even if we didn’t want it. Anyways now the entire bag of food they gave us that we didn’t order or want is going to waste because shocking we don’t want it like we told them multiple times. They should hire someone with a brain.

Their burgers and their breakfast are equally as amazing. We love the hatch green chillies they put on the food items. Their orange juice is the best around. Their service is very prompt and everything is cooked fresh right when you order it, so the food quality has always been excellent

I phoned in my order at 6 am. The AI said my food would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at 6:20 am to find the doors locked. Another customer tells me they were told they will open at 7am. I never received my food as I couldn’t wait another half an hour. I called and left a voice mail for corporate and still haven’t received a call back and it has now been a week. I will not eat there any longer. They have lost my business and corporate doesn’t even bother to call back.

Moriarty New Mexico- this is a real old fashion fast food burger on the mother road. We decided to exit I-40w on the way to see the SW soaring Museum at Moriarty. It was closed and it was lunch time. The Booths were not designed for comfort, but in their defense you go there to get fast food. In and out. The burgers are cheap enough, and you can get hatch chilies. I recommend that! Next the service was very fast and pretty decent. Not too much else to say, except it was a great little find, the locals seem to love it. One order of the seasoned fries is enough for two to share.

The manager was extremely rude, when calmly addressed about treating me and my friends with poor behavior in front of his crew, he told us we couldn’t eat inside and began to yell at us. We will not be back to this location until management has been cleaned up.

Mt niece recommended Lotaburger and I’m glad we went! The fries are wonderful crispy and the onion rings have a FABULOUS batter. We had to wait a bit but it was completely worth it for such fresh fries/rings.
I had the chicken ranch sandwich with pickled onions which was VERY good with a wonderfully crispy breaded chicken breast. Good bun too.
My daughter had the “New Mexico” style Lota Burger and enjoyed it (but still prefers the full slice of onion at In ‘n Out). She also liked the hatch green chilis but will get them on the side next time. I ate her extra chilis with my sandwich and it was .
We also got a vanilla milkshake to go and she liked it MUCH better than In ‘n Out. It tastes like thick straight vanilla ice cream instead of a shake with too much flavoring added. I couldn’t leave it alone! :-9
