Nice gem. I really liked my Charcuterie board. I would go back again just for that. My boyfriend and I reserved the sofa at the back , which was separated from the rest of dining by wine boxes lol.. kinda tacky, but they seem to be trying. I liked my waitress and we enjoyed the wine for sure- we had a tasting and then glasses of wine. The tinned seafood was not for me personally, and cold.The ambiance is more dressed up if you want ,but can still get away with casual for this town.

Whether you are in the mood for some little dishes, large appetites, or just stopping in for a beverage they will not disappoint!

What a fabulous place! Three friends and I, escaping from a convention for a short visit to downtown Blacksburg, happened upon Wine Lab and what a happy bit of serendipity it was! We didn’t have long because we had to be back soon for a convention event, so we ordered the Fan Favorite charcuterie board and the Dip Plate (we chose the pimento cheese dip, the whipped feta and sun-dried tomato, and the olive tapenade), and I ordered the Radiant Red wine flight. The food was plentiful and delicious, we all enjoyed our drinks, and the service was prompt and cheerful. We loved this place and just wish there was one in northern Virginia where we’re all located. A great afternoon get-away and highly recommended!

Very unique concept and love the Cheese and Charcuterie board! Baked Brie was fantastic. You have to try both. Huge selection of wine, other alcoholic beverages were also available. I believe chef changes the menu often. Food was not your average bar food, you wouldn’t find it elsewhere. Everyone from our group loved their sandwiches and salads. I do wish there were more sandwich selections, six out of eleven people ordered Chipotle Turkey sandwich. Tomato soup had a good flavor but it was very thick, almost tasted like a fancy spaghetti sauce. No one was remotely interested in the tinned seafood which was a big section on their menu. I am curious how their sales in tinned seafood were. I am sure some of them are delicious and rare to find, but it just didn’t seem like a lunch item. I would try them if I was there with a friend to have a few glasses of wine. All and all, food was gourmet and affordable. I highly recommend this place.

Date night, early day off, drinks with friends, family gathering, client meeting, business celebration, or really any occasion this is the place for it. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and experience is . The wine selection is AMAZING but if you are into classic cocktails and beer they also have you covered! Highly recommend making a reservation because it gets busy quick! The food is local and amazing, try a classic salad and be pampered by the charcuterie boards. Save some room for their simple and amazing desserts! You will not be disappointed – ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I especially recommend wine flights! Great place, lab vibes indeed. Dip plates and charcuterie boards are delicious. Cheese selection is delicate. I wish they had more dinner options.

This is one of the more unique spaces on the East Coast, in which you are supposed to use the space to connect with people on a different wavelength with wine and light food. You won’t find TVs, loud music or have wifi passwords. The proprietors of this venue have put 200% thought into the design, furniture, ambience and the overall experience you will find here. Their wines are top of the line, thoughtful and are the backbone of this place. Again, it is light food, you won’t find “hot apps” or a full meal here and if you are wanting that, go elsewhere. I live 4-1/2 hours away from this venue and have at least done 10 separate last minute trips just to get the wine and food this place offers. It is THAT good. If you aren’t looking for what this place offers and want TVs, loud music, nachos, and wifi passwords, Sharkey’s and “T.O.T.S.” are a 10 minute walk away. Leave the wine and sophistication to the rest of us!

I visited Blacksburg Wine Lab recently for the first time with 2 friends for dinner and it was everything I could have wanted and more. The ambience is gorgeous and very welcoming, and the food and drinks are delicious. If you’re on the fence; definitely get the baked Brie! I also ordered the non-alcoholic Pomegranate Orange Spritz – delicious and so refreshing! My husband loves his Slightly Sweet Wine Flight, and both of our sandwiches were so decadent and yummy. I will definitely be back!!!

The Wine Lab is such a cool spot. I had the most amazing Turkey and Havarti panini with homemade honey mustard as a dipper and a side of tomato basil soup- both were delicious. The team was very friendly and hospitable and the atmosphere is comfortable and very relaxing. I am already looking forward to my next visit here.
