The staff was really great, and the atmosphere did feel historic. I didn’t get to see the upstairs as they said it was only open during the weekends, but I did see one or two pool tables on the main floor. I went on a Monday evening and they were hosting trivia. I had the Guinness Beef Stew at the bartender’s suggestion and it was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place, and I hope to visit it again the next time I’m in town.

Found this little gem on Sunday just in time for my Birthday! Ryan and Melody were amazing, treated us great the whole time. Loved being with my Packers family. My Girlfriend and I couldn’t be more pleased. We’ll definitely be back for the SNF game this upcoming Sunday night.
One and only negative: the kid with the super punchable face in the Vikings jersey who I guess has a reallllly bad reputation there for starting stuff with Packers fans? Even said something to me in the first 30 seconds I was there. Dude needs to read the room…..

The wait staff wasn’t too bad. We sat outside since it was fairly warm. At first the noise levels were tolerable – in fact, surprisingly moderate for a bar/grill. Having lived in Milwaukee WI I immediately noticed and remarked about all the Green Bay Packers jerseys I was seeing on patrons and was told by members of my party that this bar/grill was somehow devoted to Packer fandom. And it turned out I had the misfortune of being present on an evening when the Packers were playing against the Chicago Bears (a team I rooted for in my childhood when I was following pro football). All tvs in this bar/grill were airing the pregame show and, once the game commenced, the volume of their sound system was cranked up to ridiculous levels. I live in this neighborhood and am intimately aware of the noise issues here with airliners taking off from and landing at nearby Love Field. But the volume from the bar/grill sound system during the game was so loud it was even drowning out the sound of jets flying overhead. Needless to say, conversation was nearly impossible during the game. If you come here on a night when some game is airing, you should be a sport fan intending to fix all your attention on the game because anything resembling typical socializing will be nearly impossible. I can’t say anything about food since I didn’t order any. Beers were pretty pricey though probably typical for this neighborhood and they did not have a very good selection of stouts, which is what I usually drink. I looked for the earliest opportunity to leave after the game started due to the obnoxious volume levels. Later I learned that the Packers lost in overtime, which was a slight consolation. I won’t be returning to this place, which is only about a mile from where I live.

Low key spot with a pool table and plenty to drink. I’ll be trying the food next time around. Thanks for the full glasses

Love this place! Great divey Irish pub in the heart of Uptown. Helps being a Green Bay fan as they have incredible Green Bay Packers and Alabama Crimson Tide fan clubs in for every game, but its their friendly and casual service that sets them apart. One of my favorite spots in Dallas.

This is a Green Bay Packers bar in Dallas.
We’re from Wisconsin and have been living in Dallas area for 7 years.
Good spot to watch the game.
They have a good deal 2 beers, 2 brats, and cheesecurds for like $20.
Service was poor. They weren’t that busy. I had to ask for extra ranch twice and after 15-20 minutes of my cheese curds getting cold I went to the kitchen myself to get ranch.
The table next to us sat down after us and didn’t get served for those same 15-20 minutes.

Pretty good food and drinks, the server was very nice. They had trivia on Monday night. Would definitely go again.

Service was wonderful. Our server had an uplifting and positive attitude. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Pretzels were warm and crispy. Queso tasted fabulous. Cheese curds were hot, crunchy, and delicious. We also had a cheese board that was just fantastic. The building was neat. Old. Vintage. That might have been why the temp was warmer than I would have liked it. Great time!

Food was great!
Came here during a busy moment and it was understaffed, had to wait for over half an hour to get served, and an additional half our to het our order.
However, still had a good time!

I had a taste for fish and chips and Blackfriar Pub came up so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. They gave you 3 large battered fish over a plate of steak fries, with sides of tartar sauce and lemon. The fish was thick and meaty and perfectly battered and fried. Not overdone and not underdone. Just juicy and perfect. The steak fries were a hit too, right on the mark. The tartar sauce was home made and spot on. This place is not gourmet but I got exactly what I came for and the quality and quantity was spot on. They had an indoor seating area and an extensive outdoor seating area. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their spirits. Overall I would recommend to my friends.
