We really liked it here. We had the bbq mac n cheese and the blackened chicken Alfredo. Both were amazing. She also had the cherry blossom tini. Wasn’t crazy busy but was a very good experience. Would highly recommend coming here. Pricing wasn’t bad compared to a lot of other places in the area. There was way more personality and a better atmosphere here than most of the surrounding area.

The service was great and the food was very good. The only downside for me, personally, was the Brussel Sprouts and that is ONLY because they were loaded with way too much garlic. I had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf and it was juicy and the temperature was spot-on. Great atmosphere in this place!

Excellent food! The atmosphere was very nice. We had the chicken fried chicken, BLT Tacos & fish tacos. We highly recommend the fish tacos! We did have an issue with a piece of fabric in a taco but our server took care of the issue and discounted the item. We will definitely eat here again while in the D.C. area!

This is a great bar just round the corner from the Whitehouse. Superb atmosphere. We visited twice once in the event at happy gour and the barvwas packed but managed to bag a table. We had Nachos and some ribs and bothe dishes were very tasty the ribs were amazing. Our second visit was lunchtime and we had burgers again very tasty. Service on both occasions was great and I even got a free beer the first time as the server had poured the wrong beer. I love free beer! We struggled to find bars like this around Washington during our visit so this one was a real find. Totally recommend stopping here.

Great lunch here! Very casual American cuisine. Their salads are always fresh and not saturated in dressing, so all the flavors shine through. The pretzel bites were warm and the cheese sauce had a nice depth! The fries were served hot and crispy.

Our server D as it says on my receipt was excellent. She made a great recommendation of the Mac and Cheese topped with pork. She was very attentive to our table and she had what can only be described as an electric and contagious smile. We will go back again.

After attending the ACFE DC Fraud Summit, I joined a happy hour at BlackFinn American Pub in DC. Their happy hour is focused only on drink specials, and I opted for the Peach Cabernet Sangria, which was refreshing and nicely garnished with an orange slice.
The food, however, didn’t leave much of an impression. Items like the hummus platter, wings, fruit platter, cheese platter, veggie quesadillas, and steak crostinis felt underwhelming overall. The one standout was the Ying Yang Shrimp—it wasn’t spicy as I expected, but it was flavorful and surprisingly enjoyable.
Overall, BlackFinn is a decent spot if you’re mainly looking for drinks at happy hour!

Had a great time at Black Finn! Their crab cakes were absolutely yummy—packed with flavor and just the right amount of crisp. I paired them with my favorite Blue Moon, and it was the perfect combo for a relaxing meal. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and the service was great too. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to for good food and good vibes!

The cuisine was exceptional. We ordered the Cali Burger and the Bourbon Street Burger; both burgers were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sauce on the Bourbon Burger complemented the burger nicely. The deviled eggs and Ying Yang shrimp were delicious and full of flavor. The beverages were enjoyable, especially during happy hour. Our server, Bradley, provided outstanding service.

We stopped in for a cool beverage and a snack. The Hummus Duo was delicious and came with some nice salty bits.
I had a nice local cider and the Tuesday Special which consists of a Miller High Life and a shot of Malort. It’s called the Chicago Handshake.
