2nd time here and just as amazing as the first time. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is spectacular! Came for Halloween night and even got a goodie bag. Thank you to our awesome server that was dressed as a cute scarecrow. Definitely coming back!

Great food and even better service!
We had a wonderful experience at Blackbeard’s! Our server Lori was absolutely fantastic – personable, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food came out fresh and surprisingly quick, and the quality was excellent throughout our meal. The service was top-notch from start to finish. We’ll definitely be returning!

Food was excellent. Shrimp, scallops, baked potato and collard greens—all on point. The collards were some of the best I’ve ever had. Better half had bay scallops, crab cake, fries, and slaw were all solid. Food-wise, easily a 10/10.

Service at the bar was lacking. Very little interaction and almost no engagement.

Great food, weak service. Fix the service and this place is a home run.

Service was great. Great selection of dishes. I had the seafood boil and it was perfect. Hush puppies were delish too. Grandson got the pork chops and he loved them. Highly recommend checking them out if you are in town.

The buffalo shrimp, fried green tomato’s were great. The Beaufort boil and Grouper bites were very good. The crab cake, stuffed soft shell crab and haystack onions were good. The cocktails were lackluster.

I don’t usually write reviews, but let me tell you…this place is GOOD. Like GOOD GOOD. The parmesan garlic clams were some of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The stuffed flounder and creamy shrimp dip were also amazing. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal!

This place has the best crab dip I’ve ever eaten and I’m not really crazy about crab dip… but it was so delicious. The staff is extremely courteous and treats you just like family. Everything was delicious at a great value and you get a ton of food for your money. 10/ 10 would recommend.

Lived here for years and finally made it over to blackbeards while we had company visiting that loves fresh seafood so figured this was the spot to try. We were seated and waited on promptly. It’s a great menu with a lot of options. The bar menu is also impressive with local beers, wine and a wide variety of mixed drinks. We settled on an appetizer of stone crab claws and the pirate platter I think it was called with fried shrimp, fried mahi bites and a crab cake. You also get a choice of 2 sides. This is FRESH local seafood and you can tell. It’s pricey but I don’t mind it when it’s quality and quantity. Fresh garden lettuce garnishes all the dishes and even edible orchids. Got the earl grey brûlée for dessert since it sounded unique and it was absolutely divine. Top 3 best creme brûlées I’ve ever had. I’ve had ALOT. The vanilla bean in it was just so so good. Cudos to the chef here. This was the best meal I’ve had locally in a long time. Looking forward to our next visit. This will definitely be my new recommendation for those looking for the best seafood in the area.

Probably one of the better places to eat this type of cuisine. Good service. Kitchen personal work worth ownership in which prepares all the sea food early morning. The cuisine next to the restaurant is where the magic initially happens. Their fresh sea food market is the better one of the there in the area

I was dining solo. Often when I do I get crappy service. Not here. My server Rebecca was warm and welcoming and the service was top notch. And the oysters, amazing. And perfectly steamed. What a nice experience.
