Great place for a meal. The service was excellent. The menu was extensive: unique pizza to salads to steak tips to pasta. 6 adults and 2 kids all had great meals. I would definitely visit again.

I ordered shrimp scampi and what I received was unacceptable. The shrimp were clearly deep fried and breaded — you could literally taste it, and you could see where the breading had been scraped off before they threw them into the dish. That is NOT scampi.
The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The sauce tasted nothing like scampi either — instead of a light garlic butter sauce, it was a thick, greasy pool of butter and oil with no real flavor.
For the price they charge, this is ridiculous. This felt lazy, careless, and honestly insulting as a customer.

Great find! Huge menu to select from and the portion sizes are massive! Taste-wise I guess a few dishes we tried could be better- like the baked penne pasta and fried chicken Alfredo. But their burgers and smothered chicken were good; plus the ice creams next door were delicious!

Time & time again I’ve been meaning to get out to Black & White Grille in Spencer, & it finally happened this weekend! Big debate of the evening — mozzarella sticks or circles? I was team circles (more mozzarella, right? ). What’s your go-to? Also had a side Caesar, & for our entrée we shared the Rib Eye Surf & Turf, topped with sautéed scallops & lobster in a creamy garlic sauce Cam, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive. Overall, great experience — I’d definitely go back!

got the steak bomb grinder, feta spinach dip, and fries and all of it was delicious! they have the best kind of french fries in my opinion! service was okay, our drinks stayed full the entire time which was appreciated. the menu is ginormous so there’s really something for everyone there and pricing is not too bad either! We called Black & White Grille at 7pm on Valentine’s Day and were able to get a reservation for that night. When we arrived, we were immediately seated and the server, Tom, came right over to wish us a Happy Valentine’s Day and bring us some water. He was so attentive and friendly throughout the entire time we were there. I ordered the chicken parm sub and my partner got the buffalo chicken Alfredo. When hers arrived, there was mushrooms in it but Tom immediately fixed this, bringing it to the kitchen and fixing it for her. He even gave us a dessert on the house. The food was incredible and the service was as well. There is a 100% chance we will be back to the Black & White grille for the food and service many times. 10/10

Fair warning!! Pulling out onto the road is high risk! The restaurant is on a blind corner with high speed traffic. I don’t know what the speed limit is. But I know the car that almost T-boned me was flying. Yes I was paying attention pulling out. Now.. the food was good! We ate in one of the igloos. It was neat. The service was good as well. They told us upon arrival we would only have 90 minutes to order and eat, because of reservations after ours. We didn’t rush, ordered quickly but it became apparent 90 minutes wouldn’t suffice. We spoke with our server, and she assured us we wouldn’t have to rush. All said and done it was about 2 hours, and our party of 6 had a bill of around $250 with cocktails.

My daughter and I stopped at the Black & White Grill in Spencer late on a recent Saturday afternoon. We were literally just driving by and saw that the parking lot was full, which is always a good sign for a restaurant and it was 3:30 PM, to boot! We were seated right away, our server Malachi was very attentive. I had a huge garden salad, which was delicious and although I didn’t make the healthiest choices for my main dish – – the fried mozzarella circles and homemade potato skins were great! The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
