BBP… Best British Pub. Great place to hang out, friendly atmosphere with an awesome landlord. Whether at the bar or playing a game of pool, dart aiming or just chit chatting with the average punters, you’re guaranteed to have a great time. Don’t forget to try the Bangers and mash, lamb shank and Scottish egg. Their kitchen offers a great variety of dishes to tuck into. So give this place a visit. Upland to you!

The fish and chips were delicious. The coke is a little too sweet. The bartender/waitress(Bri) was amazing. Relaxed vibes. Thank you!

Yum! Second visit and everything was delicious. First visit I enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish had the perfect crunch coating and the meat was flaky and moist inside. Today I had the shepherds pie. Nice meaty filling with light mashed potatoes and melted cheese on top. Food piping hot when it arrived. Friendly, attentive service. 1st time here. We ordered to share. Lamb shank, mash, and peas (daily special) and 2 piece fish and chips (off the menu). Exceptionally fresh Icelandic cod, fried nicely, and stayed crunchy even after adding malt vinegar. Lamb shank perfectly cooked, it fell off the bone. Served with homemade mashed potatoes and brown sauce, quite tasty. Peas garden fresh, firm, not mushy. Full bar. Chips not very British, more like regular American fries. The server was very nice, but she forgot about us. Was hoping for a trifle, but no desserts available except ice cream: strawberry, and 2 odd flavors. Good food. We’ll be back.

When a British pub has Union Jacks flying and British people inside, it’s good. Good food.

Chill little spot with a great vibe. They’ve got pool tables, a big outdoor area to hang out, and plenty of friendly people that make it easy to have a good time. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I want something low-key but fun

I dislike the experience I had here. I got charged an extra transaction which was double the cost of my original. The employees cannot explain and where clueless on how to resolve this mistake. Giving me the runaround promising I won’t be charged, now I’m dealing with my bank sending proof of my receipts to deal with this dispute. Don’t leave your tab open here I’m starting to believe they are paying themselves out.

Had the pastie with mashed potatoes and peas, jalapeño poppers with fries, and the beef sliders with fries accompanied with a Pimm’s Cup. I enjoyed the food and the staff was kind and welcoming.

Owner can’t handle negative reviews. So I’m here to show proof that their quality and prices are not in line. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Raising prices on everything for no reason..don’t share food they charge 8 bucks to split it and add extra sides of crap food.
