Painted entirely black inside, couch units are separated by walls and are separated from the floor by drapes to offer privacy. Multiple TVs on inside walls. A few high tables with comfy chairs. There is a nice bar. Owner is very welcoming. We played an electric trivia game. Food is available from neighborhood restaurants, but I believe some items are to be add through in-house food service.

It’s nice to be able to go out locally to an intimate venue that’s not a converted eatery or dive bar. Staff has been great every time we’ve been in.

I went for nye party and it was a lot of fun a very nice venue with tons of potential. Service was absolutely phenomenal which I find is hard to come by nowadays. Drinks were on the expensive side but I am also very limited to the drinks I am able to have so I run into this at most venues.

Club like feel which does not necessarily fit a town like Antioch. However, the place seemed clean and well taken care of (newly renovated?). Given that the lighting was dim and gave of a club like feel i would be interested to know how clean. The wait staff appeared under the influence and disinterested in performing their job duties and spent way too much time on their phones vs making their rounds. Food was mediocre at best but rumor is they’re partnering with Oliverri North which should fix the issue. Atmosphere seemed ok, which I think was a direct reflection of the staff not creating a very welcoming environment.

absolutely loved my experience here!! drinks and food are both great, my favorite is the espresso martinis and the shrimp crostini! will definitely visit again 🙂

We had an amazing time at Black Velvet’s disco-themed New Year’s Eve party! The hors d’oeuvres were lacking in quantity and quality, but that’s an easy fix — more importantly, the staff, the drinks, the DJ, and overall atmosphere more than made up for it. Truly an amazing night, and we’ll return again and again to enjoy this new place’s evolution!

Went there last weekend and all the servers were drunk. There was less than 10 people inside and we had a server come up to us, take our order then sit down and text on her phone. The next server came over took our order again and couldn’t figure out the POS system (again drunk) so we plugged our order in for her. Then our drinks came and they were wrong.
