I’m not much of a breakfast person but I find myself becoming a frequent flyer at Black Sheep. The options are endless and so accommodating to all dietary restrictions. I love a good flagel because I love a good bagel but I try to behave with the carbs. The staff is always friendly and they actually care about what they’re putting out. I’ve never had such neat sandwiches, ESPECIALLY egg sandwiches. I’d give you 10 stars but the cap is 5!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME! honestly, nothing is better than a little hole in the wall deli that you don’t even know exist. Not to Mention that delis will be extinct in the next 10 years, I always love finding a good one on Long Island
Saw the sign while I was driving past hit a quick right and ended up at Black Sheep. I know most people may not appreciate it but I sure did when I walked in. It was like a morning club lol. Good music nice decor love the atmosphere.
Staff was super tentative and friendly from the moment I entered. Food was cooked perfect and very good. I even got suckered into the Cinnabon’s. Those were ridiculously good as well.
A little bit expensive, but what do you expect when you’re on the east end of Long Island. All in all everybody has to make money and the rent ain’t going down.
Great place for the community. Can’t wait to go back since I’ll be working out here for the next 12 months.

Egg sandwiches are usually very good here! But today I got my usual and the bagel was burnt. Also the coffee cups constantly leak and I’ve had coffee drip all over me and my car because the cups/lids are low quality. Otherwise the coffee itself is amazing! I’d just suggest maybe bringing your own thermos since the cups can be hit or miss with leaking.
I love black sheep and will always be a returning customer but these are just just some things I noticed and have been noticing.

We ordered 2 Spicy Hobos on Egg Everything Bagels and cheese pull was fantastic. $10-$11 per sandwich, and bagels were large and toasted just right! Must try if you’re in the area!

Passing through this town, I was hungry and stopped at the first bagel place I saw. Man, did I luck out stopping here! Everything was SO GOOD!
I couldn’t resist trying their “meat lovers” bagel, toasted with butter. I’ve never seen this bagel type before and boy it was delicious!
In addition to some other things, I also tried a sample of their broccoli cheddar soup (I’m a big fan of this soup, when done right). Holy cow! Best broccoli cheddar soup I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ll DEFINITELY be stopping back at Black Sheep Bagels for lunch when I head back home later today.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Great food, great vibes, and super friendly & helpful staff. What more can you ask for??

Is $5 for a bagel with cream cheese the new normal? That seems crazy. Next time I’ll just get the bagel and add my own cc. It was a very good bagel — a little cakey compared to NYC-quality but super-fresh and delicious and much better than the previous G-place. It was really frustrating to get a paper receipt though, and the extra fee for a credit card was not posted anywhere. I had $4 in cash, which I assumed would be more than enough – lol.

The best bagels, lunch and people. Food is always super fresh and service is always with a smile. Every time I go there, there are 10+ people ahead of me in line, but the line moves very quickly because the staff knows what they’re doing and they wait on more than one customer at a time – unlike most places. Egg sandwiches are delicious and all of the rolls I am told are home baked. There is always something new on the menu, though I like to stick with the chicken salad, tuna salad, white fish salad and every so often, vegetable cream cheese on an egg bagel (trying to eat healthy). We live about 20 minutes away, but it’s worth the trip every time. I’m not somebody who typically comments on food places because I always find something wrong, but this place is as near perfect as I’ve ever personally experienced — — food delicious and fresh every time — and the sandwiches are thick. Facts. $2

Hands-down, the absolute best sandwiches on the north fork of Long Island! Impeccable service, and a sense of urgency behind the counter that you don’t see much out here!
The bagels are great, always fresh, and I highly recommend the paninis (namely, as shown in the photo: The Hobo-Lini – consisting of bacon, egg, cheese, and a hash brown pressed on a bagel)!
