Black sheep burritos and brews is by far one of the best places to eat in all of West Virginia! The burritos were amazing and they had very large portions. We ordered the tuna burrito, unaware that it was raw but the grilled steak was the best! The service of the staff was awesome, coming around from time to time asking if we needed anything. There was not many people in the restaurant at the time, so the atmosphere was in between quiet and moderate noise level. The lady who served us was very kind and adjusted to our conveniences. Will definitely go here again in the future!

Black Sheep Burritos and Brews offers a great lunch experience with fast service and bold flavors. We were seated right away with no wait on a Friday afternoon, though the place started picking up as we ate. I had the Chorizo Stack, which was served hot and delivered powerful, savory flavors—though it was a bit salty for my liking. My friend enjoyed the Thai Shrimp Taco and Chipotle Pork Taco. We also shared the queso and chips. The queso was thick and the chips seemed like they weren’t made fresh, but they were still tasty. Fries were flavorful, though quite salty and left my mouth feeling a little raw. Service was friendly and prompt but not over the top. Overall, a solid spot for lunch if you like your food bold and salty.

This may have been the best chicken and waffle I ever had. The waffles didn’t need no syrup.(I still put some on )The candies pecans was so good. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. This definitely was a hit. The OG was so delicious!

What an absolutely pleasure it was to find this restaurant and brew pub in downtown Charleston. Stellar service with a very unique interpretation of the typical burrito as well as other fare.

Great beer selection at a very fair price.

I had the seared tuna tacos. They were cooked perfectly. The tuna melted in your mouth. The portions were generous and they didn’t scrimp on the ingredients. They also have a selection of craft beers. The waiter was attentive and courteous.

I recommend this restaurant.

Great little place I’ve been going to whenever I stop by Charleston WV. Definitely check this place out. Right down town. Good is amazing. Usually have a lot of beers on tap. Sometimes they’re in between kegs. But even if the selection is low you’ll find a decent beer. Check it out. Get some stickers. And try a burrito or a set of tacos. Super tasty and epic flavors

Visiting Charleston for the first time. Love the downtown vibe. Stopped in for lunch on Friday, this is a cool place. We were seated by Kiana, she also waited on us, along with many other tables. She was amazing and so was the food (highly recommend the barbacoa quesadilla) and drinks! It was very busy and she never missed a beat, with a smile on her face. I did tell her I appreciated her great service. Thanks Kiana for knowing what good service is, because I get it!! If I highly recommend this restaurant!!

We eat here regularly. Almost always get 2-3 tacos (love the thai shrimp, chorizo, korean bbq, baja) and sometimes get their house salad (which is quite good) and one taco or fries. We never get the burritos because they’re just too big.

Of course they have a great beer selection, but if you can pry yourself away from beer, I’ve found all their cocktails to be excellent! They use that great nugget ice. Their house rock, the spicy pineapple, and the mexican mule are excellent and better priced than most restaurants.

As much as I love this place, it’s in need of a refresh inside. The other locations with the same owners are much cooler and updated compared to the Charleston Black Sheep. It also seems like there is very little promotion, never have live music or events, etc. Seems like management is complacent, but the other nearby restaurants are trying harder.
