Tzaki sauce is watery, not a thick consistency. Rice was bland and meat was dry. Hummus for $2 was really not produced properly. Price for everything was affordable compared to other restraunts. Quality was not there, everything was bland and dry, Almost like precooked food.

Apparently Black Sea Restaurant has been open for 10 years, but this was my first visit. Spinach Borek appetizer was tasty, but erred toward bland (served with a pickled pepperocini which helped), and the Beef Kabob was excellent. Moderate prices, fast and friendly service. A little too quiet which is always better than too loud. More people need to check out this place! They have BAKLAVA

A neat little hole in the wall eatery. I’m a bit well versed in Mediterranean food, but my experience has been gyros, and that’s about it.

We went here based on local recommendation. The outside is not very appealing, but the inside is much nicer. I felt the menu was somewhat limited compared to other similar places I’ve gone to. I ordered a platter and salad to go. They were ready in maybe 5-10 minutes which is nice, but makes me think premade, fast food, rather than sit-down style restaurant with freshly prepared items. While satisfying, I’m sorry to say it didn’t rise above fast-food. The white yogurt sauce was so thin. It was almost flavorless. The meat is tasty but dry. French fries were lackluster, too. I would have liked more veggies on my salad, but enjoyed what I had.

Turkish cuisine is one of the top 10 cuisine in the world. It shouldn’t be represented like this to Americans who don’t know anything about it. Iskender (gyros with yoghurt and butter) was too cold and tasted nothing like a real iskender.

Excellent food, and nice open restaurant. The Turkish salad is delicious and so is the baklava. Fast service, friendly staff.

Amazing food and super cheap as well. The gyros comes with fries and your own sauce. Ordered the MIXED GYRO SANDWICH. Definitely great meals and food comes out fast/quick.

I come here every couple of weeks when I’m in the area, the chef, Tolga makes the absolute best food I’ve ever had, called Iskender. Everything else on the menu looks great, but this stuff is just amazing. It’s just a big plate full of chopped pita, meat, and sauces. Every bite is a little bit different, some are more chewy cause there’s more pita in that bite, some are more savory with the tomato sauce, some are more mellow with the white sauce, so it’s like an adventure for your mouth the entire time you’re eating it.
