Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive – thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful – a place where coffee could fuel connection.

I stopped by Black Rock Coffee Bar and loved the vibe of the place. I tried the truffle-flavored drink, and it was so rich and unique—definitely worth trying if you’re into bold flavors. The staff was friendly, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I tried this place for the first time this morning and i’m very disappointed.. I saw so many good reviews and I was very excited to hopefully have a new coffee shop. Unfortunately I will not be going back, the food is mid at best and the staff is very rude and condescending. I wanted something I saw on the menu online and I was told “Wrong location” which fine i get there’s not every item at every location but it could’ve been said nicer. so I ended up ordering some of the egg bites, and a coffee. when I got to the window my card had declined (fine that happens i have a security issue so it does that often) but whoever was at the window rudely told me “yeah your card decline, how are you going to pay?” so i pulled out some cash and when i asked to give her $15 instead of my $20 she looked at me like i was stupid and said “sorry already input it into the system” i’m not really sure how difficult it is to do math like that.. instead of giving me $5 and some change back you would just give me change.. when she gave me my change she looked offended when i didn’t give her a tip and pretty much threw my stuff at me. i’m not sure what you had done that deserved a tip (that’s coming from a server) and i usually do tip very well i just didn’t feel appreciated or even like a person at this location so i will not be returning.

It was lukewarm at first step I have hotter water that comes out of the tap at my house I understand you don’t want coffee to boil and scald someone but a cup of coffee shouldn’t be ice cold in 5 minutes especially when you’re talking $10 tipping off for it

Found this place and tried it based on the reviews. Order Caramel Blondie and wasn’t disappointed. A bit sweet to my taste though so next time would ask for less sugar.
The place is cozy and stylish inside. And on a day with nice weather, you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee!

Whether you want to customize an iced tea or bury your lips in a delicious craft brewed coffee – your taste buds will thank you. Don’t forget to tip! They provide awesome service with great delivery. First timer here! I ordered Hot Caramel Blondie coffee and it was surprisingly good. Like really, really good. My order was taken and in less than five minutes, I got my coffee. I was tempted to try croissant which looks really good but I’ve just eaten snack. Maybe next time. The store is clean, it looks nice and comfy. Service is good and fast. We’ll try other items on the menu next time.

I really love this place ! The coffee is amazing and their tacos are so bomb. A bit on the pricer side but the difference shows up in how fresh their coffee is every time. I always enjoy coming back.

Enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee here. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. There is a drive-thru, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Venue is very clean and pleasant. A modest selection of baked goods, breakfast tacos, and bagels is available, baked locally. Overall a nice experience for a coffee shop if you are in the area.
