Food was fire! My son loved his shrimp tacos, and my pork belly tacos were bomb! The Muscles are a must have, every visit! Very flavorful! I’m mad at the can soda being $3 though. I’d rather have a refillable fountain drink.

My buddies and I like to try out all the places that are recommended in the Long Beach area. When we heard about the Black Pork in West LB we had to give it a try. I ordered the Cuban pulled pork sandwich (pictured here) and it was a big tasty portion of pulled pork. I saved half of it to eat later. Other items ordered were the empanadas, tacos and soup. They do a real good job cooking here. All the food was tasty. Would like to go back and sample the rest of the items on the menu. Only one complaint… the staff needs to water their plants outside more regularly. The majority of them were real thirsty for some water. Other than that we recommend you visiting.

Fantastic food in a cute neighborhood eatery! The food is fresh, homemade and super delicious. Everything we’ve tried here has a little unique flair that makes it special. The clam chowder is a MUST…a little spicy, a little smoky… incredible!

Continues to be great quality food. Location has horrible parking, and is in a strip mall with some shops that could use a facelift. Smoked pork used for the Cubano. Fries done right with crispness and soft interior. This sandwich is worth the adventure of finding a parking spot.

This place is hands down delicious! Seriously the best Chilaquiles I’ve ever had, that house made green sauce…WOW. Those empanadas easily have me coming back for more and don’t shy from the dipping sauce either. House made teas yes please!
Owners are incredibly talented in the kitchen and just as wonderful serving. Don’t let this hidden gem that’s easy to miss fool you from passing by. It’s well worth the stop.
There’s a small-ish outdoor patio that is dog friendly which is a huge plus for us.

This spot came highly recommended, so I had to check it out. I went with the black burger, and it did not disappoint—absolutely delicious and generously sized. I also tried the calamari and empanadas, both packed with flavor. Everything was great, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu.

We stopped in after our daughter’s game and had the beef empanadas, Mac and cheese bomb, an asada taco and the Mollejas. To wash this down my wife enjoyed the berry hibiscus tea.
Mac and cheese bomb: a perfect golden brown Mac and cheese ball on top of cheese sauce. The flavor was spot on and texture of the macaroni was perfect.
Asada taco with salsa: beef was marinated perfectly and cubed into very manageable sizes garnished with just the right amount of salsa. Nothing overpowered anything else. Perfect mix.
Mollejas: I have no idea what this is but it was so delicious! A must try. This was topped with chimichurri.

The food here was amazing! Seriously, this is a hidden gem. Our group had the empanadas, the Mac and cheese bomb ,the Korean short ribs and the chicken sandwich. Everything was flavorful, rich, perfectly cooked. Even the plating was stunning.
