I was surprised with the level of communication amongst the staff here. After telling them about my gluten allergy, our waitress informed the manager on duty and she came to the table to speak to us. As they don’t have anything labeled gluten free on the menu, the manager lists off everything that can be made gluten free. They do have a dedicated fryer, so I was able to have their French fries. They were well seasoned and crispy. I tried the clubhouse sandwich on gluten free bread, and it was really good! I would order it again! A family member ordered the same sandwich on regular bread, and they agreed that it was good. My family enjoyed the fried goat cheese ball. They were also pleasantly surprised by the rolls with sweet butter. I would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

My first time trying out this restaurant. I thought the atmosphere and food were great. The waiter went way beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They have a lunch menu which is nice so that the prices are a little cheaper. The lunch Pot Roast was so tender and juicy. The Chicken Fried Steak and the Ruben are also excellent choices too.

We are so happy we came across this place! To be able to find a place that has food with so much flavor, the customer service is on point, and it does not break your pocketbook by eating here..is rare! We are local in the area, but this is our first time eating here. We decided to try the meatloaf, and it was one of the best restaurant meat loaves we have ever tasted! We ourselves are small business owners locally, and love that they outsource a lot of their products from local businesses in the area. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. The hubby already wants to go back in the morning to try the breakfast! He said the sweet tea was really good also! Side note: You can feed the littles for only $5 kids meals!

The ONLY reason why I’m not giving it a 5 star, is due to the menu being very limited and because it took the hostess to find our waiter to come and introduce themselves to us. Prior to that, we were just sitting there like ducks. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was nicely decorated, and the place was clean. The food was very good! I highly recommend this place to visitors such as ourselves. We do not regret coming here at all. Truly enjoyed the environment.

The food was great. I ate the chicken fried chicken with Mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was really great. The portion size of the chicken was a bit small I thought. I asked for gravy on the side. It was on top of chicken. It was no big deal. My wife got the Ozark Burger. She said it tasted good. My son got the kids meal cheese burger. He said it was good. My daughter got the tomato soup. She liked it. Service was okay. Door greeter did not seem to helpful. Waitress did not seem happy. She was helpful though. Atmosphere was super loud. I realize they were busy, but it was loud. Overall good experience.

We went to Black Oak Grill on the Branson Landing the weekend of July 7th. The atmosphere and decor were very nice. We opted to sit out on the patio, which was quiet, but being on the landing we thought we’d get a better view than the parking lot. Not really a big deal, just disappointed. My wife ordered the $30 ribeye. It was cooked medium as she liked, had a great taste, but was chewy. I would expect a $30 steak to be more tender. She said her smashed potatoes were bland. I got the “grilled” meatloaf. I’m a big meatloaf fan and was looking forward to a grilled taste. This was just a regular meatloaf with tomato sauce on top. I scraped away the sauce and not even a hint of grill marks were present. I had the same smashed potatoes with white gravy and even after salting, still tasted bland. The fried pickles we had as an appetizer were the best thing we ate! The breading had what looked like pepper in it. Very tasty! I’ve heard good things about Black Oak Grill and maybe I’ll give it a second chance. Our meal totaled $67 after tip (no drinks, just water) and we paid with a gift card so the experience didn’t sting as much as if I had paid with my own cash.

While vacationing in the area, we stopped in for lunch as we visited the various stores. We were trying to find a restaurant that had plenty of gluten-free options to help us with our dietary restrictions. This restaurant has a separate fryer for gluten-free fries. They also had gluten-free bread for sandwiches. At the time of our visit they were out of the gluten-free buns for burgers. Traveling with young kids we found that the kids meals were appropriately priced and offered plenty of quantity. Each of our kids had leftovers. One had the gluten-free grilled cheese and the others had gluten free cheeseburgers. I had the gluten-free toasted clubhouse sandwich, which was delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken Caesar salad, minus the croutons. The waiter was friendly and helped us navigate the menu. The atmosphere was quiet on a Tuesday around lunch time with most of the noise coming from the quietly playing speaker. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend stopping for lunch if you have to avoid gluten.

Food was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible. Carrot cake was extremely good. Our first piece of carrot cake was really big so we ordered another one to go. That piece was about half the size. When we questioned it, our server informed us our first piece was too big. For $7.50 I would expect a large piece. Very disappointing and frustrating.

We were hungry and walking by and it didn’t look busy, so we stopped. Never been here before, but we will be back! Service was great! Super kind and fun. And the food and drinks were fantastic. We got the BBQ Nachos, Chicken Fried Chicken, Black Oak Punch, and sweet tea. All was wonderful!

We were seated right away! Visited this place twice while we were in Branson. Food tasted great! Someone back there at the grill knew what they were doing! We had the cheeseburger & fries and the club sandwich. Mmm Mmm good!
