I’ve been coming here for years after flying at Mid-State Airport just a mile away. Jody and his family run the concession stand and they are delightful. The food is delicious, the service is super friendly, and you can’t beat the beautiful park setting. This place is a gem!

I had ate here 2x in a row with my kids and friends. Decided to take my kids and husband here before a movie. My husband ordered a cheese steak. The cheese steak looked great but when he took a bite he got alot of gristle. It was hard and of course you can’t chew through and eat it. After getting multiple pieces in just 2 bites, he took it inside and they said that just happens and he could buy something else. Now, we aren’t ppl who want free things. He didn’t even eat beyond 2 bites of this sandwich. He wanted it replaced. He wasn’t going to have hard pieces through his sandwich he paid for as any normal person would feel. So he did pay for another sandwich. This time a burger. The cook lady came out and said I’m sorry but that happens but we made it right for you. My husband said no you didnt… I had to buy another meal…. she said we’ll how about an ice cream cone? He says no I literally have a milkshake…. she said how about the difference between the 2? So he’d get like a dollar ish? Back. So that means he paid nearly 15 bucks for a burger? (Or more- I forget the exact prices as I don’t pay attention since we have the money to go eat!) He declined no that’s not really anything. It’s fine I’ll eat and we can go. She was obviously not happy but still refunded us. Sadly this interaction effects our willingness to eat here as regularly as we were anticipating (we enjoyed our other experiences!). We understand how people can be greedy but this was not this type of case. We just wanted our food to be edible…. If they know the steak is a known issue then why not warn the customers ? Or better yet- find a different supplier if this tends to happen with your steak? :/

Fresh food, Galliker’s ice cream, and camping merch. New ownership. Very friendly staff. Open 11am-7pm daily during summer season. Would looove if they had a coffee bar and customer wifi!
