The crispy katsu was cushioned between a soft, warm croissant. All the ingredients play well of each other. Would get again!
The frappe was delicious. Right amount of sweetness.
The chok was surprisingly packed with a lot of flavor. I am used to rice porridge having a very subtle almost bland taste, but this was great. I’m glad I was able to try this new dish.

Black Ivory Coffee is inside a somewhat run down restaurant and hard to find from the parking lot due to minimal signage. It was empty after work, and while service was quick, the overall experience felt like it was missing something.

Beautiful place. A nice surprise when you walk through the door as the outside is not as inviting. Very open and spacious vibe for coffee. Excellent coffee. Great espresso. Nice guy serving. Relaxing atmosphere. Didn’t realize it’s connected to a great sushi and Thai restaurant. This is a must visit place in Raleigh.

Ordered a “hot” dirty chai. Not only was it luke warm when they handed it to me but it took them a very very long time to even start my to-go drink when the place wasn’t even busy. Perhaps they need more people working if the one guy making the drinks is also the same one making the food! Disappointing experience.

Great spot! The iced latte had a great composition, and the boba straw was a nice element. Wonderful service and atmosphere. The Bangkok chicken breakfast burrito was good, but didn’t hit the breakfast realm for me. Definitely more of a lunch option.

Wow…my husband and I went yesterday and I am still thinking about the chicken katsu sandwich on a croissant and my london fog latte. They were unbelievably delicious. My husband ordered a latte and the same sandwich and was equally impressed. The service was excellent and the vibes inside are quiet and relaxed. We’re already making plans to go again…I wish I took a picture of the food but I was too busy enjoying it

Really cool Asian-inspired café. It was pretty quiet when we arrived, which was nice. Great atmosphere, intriguing decor, and solid food and drink options.
We ordered a Coffee Muffin, a Flat White, a Lychee Snow Boba, and the Chicken Katsu Croissant Sandwich. Everything was fantastic—especially the Chicken Katsu.
The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Super great atmosphere, great prices and the fruit teas are amazing!! I recommend the mango passion mixed fruit tea with lychee & mango popping boba! The black tiger milk with boba and crystal jelly is super good too. The cheese danish was really warm and has good filling, but when they warm it up it kind of loses its flaky crust – still pretty good tho!

Black Ivory Cafe is one of those truly unique places where everything is delicious. The coffee and teas? Top-tier. The boba? Fresh, refreshing, and addictive. The chok? I dream about this porridge between every visit. The katsu croissant sandwiches? The chicken sandwich battle is over, and Black Ivory wins it.
I would give 10 stars if I could. Truly love this place, the food, the atmosphere, and coming here to work remotely or catch up with friends over an incredible meal.
