Had a great time at this restaurant. They have a great selection of food and what I can see on their drink menu.
They have great seatings downstairs and there is also an upper patio and bar too.
So you have choices or being inside or outside. There are TVs and they do have games on while we were there.
Ordered their salmon with Brussel sprouts. The fish came out on the salty side but it was ok.
Would go back there again to try their lunch and other menu selections.

Black Hawk was the perfect spot for an easy girls night with great food and reasonably priced drinks. I had the espresso martini and wine, and a friend had a great beer flight. The atmosphere was ideal for relaxed, fun conversation – no yelling over loud music – and the seating was super comfortable. The icing on the cake was the outstanding service from Ben (our server) and Stuart (the bartender). Ben was exceptional!! He took great care of us and struck the perfect balance of being funny, engaging, and attentive, while still giving us space to talk. The food was fantastic – I had the Mojito Lime Chicken Bowl and it was delicious! Great location, too. We will definitely be back!

this is literally the best brewery that I have ever experienced. The food is amazing! My top favorites are the Philly cheesesteak, the spinach dip, and their pizzas are sensational! Very affordable, great atmosphere, and not to mention they have a rooftop patio. 1,000,000/10 highly recommend.
Sidenote: the staff is extremely professional, friendly, and just have overall great customer service. This is my third time going this week and I just found out about this brewery on Monday.

Black Hawk Brewery was phenomenal! The atmosphere on a Wednesday night is nice and quiet. So, it was perfect!
We had the Prosper Night and French Toast stouts were delectable. Nice and smooth not too heavy. Very satisfying!
The loaded cheese fries were fantastic as was the brisket grilled cheese Panini. The garden salad was just a wet bowl of lettuce. The description made it sound safe to order. Nah. Skip that!
Be sure to save room for dessert! The strawberry lime pie was fire!
I would totally recommend this place to my closest friends!

Well this place was fantastic! My boyfriend and I stopped in last night for date night because he saw the place driving by one day and thought it would be a fun stop. Sure enough we loved it!
The hostess let us know that the rooftop was pretty busy, so we chose to sit on the bottom floor which was quieter and less crowded. We enjoyed the music and the games playing on the TVs around us.
The food was delicious and our server, Rylan, was very nice and gave us all the recommendations when we let him know it was our first visit. We got two appetizers, the pretzel bites with beer cheese and the coconut shrimp, and both were fabulous! Our drinks stayed filled, as we didn’t have to ask for refills. I got the Reuben, which was DELICIOUS by the way. And my boyfriend got the smash burger, which he enjoyed. The kicker is the onion rings, which were battered and perfectly crispy with a side of creamy horseradish sauce.
We are very pleased and will be stopping by often!

We recently hosted a private event at Blackhawk Brewery’s rooftop bar and it was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, the service was top notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming to all of our guests.
The food was delicious and exceeded expectations, and their craft beers, cocktails, and wine selection were a huge hit with everyone in attendance. We had around 40–50 guests, and the rooftop space fit our group very comfortably without ever feeling crowded.

Dropped by Blackhawk Brewery and walked away with a mixed bag. The BBQ chicken pizza was solid, and the sweet chili wings were actually pretty good, definitely the highlight on the food front.
I tried the Orange Creamsicle IPA, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sold at first. But by the end of the glass, it kind of grew on me. Not something I’d order every time, but worth the try.
Service was okay, not bad, not great. Just kind of there. But the vibe? That’s where they nailed it. Great location to catch a football game, and definitely the kind of place you’d want to bring a few buddies and hang out for a while. The atmosphere has a laid-back energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
They’ve got other menu items I’m curious to try next time, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, the Reuben, and a few other pizzas. If the wings are any indication, there’s potential. I’d come back for the vibe and the wings, and hopefully next time the rest of the experience catches up.

We were here for our after party from an awards dinner and I have to say the entire staff did not buckle under the pressure of a big group arriving at the same time. They were quick to get everyone drinks and were very attentive. The people that ordered food got it in a timely fashion and the staff all always had a smile. We will definitely be going back for more.

Black Hawk Brewery in Prosper is a fun place with a great rooftop area that’s perfect for relaxing, especially in the evening. They have a good selection of in-house brewed beers, the IPA and stouts were my favorites. The food is also tasty, and I really liked the shrimp and chicken sandwich. The staff is friendly and happy to help you choose a beer if you’re not sure what to get. It’s a nice spot to hang out with friends, or just unwind with good drinks.
