Great pub-y atmosphere, toted as the Oilers fan pub. Good selection of beer on tap. Good specials too. Standard prices. Menu reads tempting, but food was fine and sadly pretty basic, given so many other great dining spots within a block or two.

I think this place must have new owners. Way different in a bad way. Our cocktails were almost undrinkable. Food wasn’t worth it either. Sad, last time we came (year ish ago) it was a lot better. I doubt I’ll ever be back. Sad. Below is a pic of the orange that came in my negroni. Looks like it was chewed on at breakfast.

Atmosphere is great! Service good. Food disappointing. Though my chicken burger tasted ok…the size was massively disappointing. So small…yet they charge $22. Definitely not worth the money. But if you’re looking to just to drink…it’s good. Has better potential if the kitchen menu was better or size of burger. Music they play is good! Just don’t cheap out on the food portions …place has potential!

We are usually pretty chill people. We ordered some drinks, which took over 30 minutes and didn’t arrive until after we had received our overcooked tenders as an appetizer. We ordered food, mainly consisting of salads, soup, and a burger, which took over an hour. We ended up leaving and paying for our bill. Would not recommend. Drinks were mediocre at best, same with the food. Everything was so slow, and in such a big city there are plenty of other great restaurants to check out. Not this place.

The redhead with a beard should be fired on the spot. Worst service we have experienced in 15+ years in the city. We 100% won’t be back and would never support a business that employed such a dramatic man.
We had one drink, the guy flew past and rudely sweeped away both glasses without checking in. Weird, but whatever. We decided to leave due to the odd interaction and so we asked for the bill. He flew off the handle and yelled at us while walking off. To be clear, our only words were “could we settle up?”.
His reaction was dramatic, intense, hostile, and completely uncalled for. Especially within an industry that relies on tips. It was the first time either of us had ever declined to tip. Honestly, there are so many better spots with decent humans worthy of supporting in Vancouver.

I stopped by for a beer and ended up staying for a few more because the ambiance and the service was incredible. Beautiful view of the Vancouver convention centre on one side, and the steam clock on the other, they even turn down the music when the clock goes off so you can fully hear it. My waitress, Gurleen, was very kind and I was never left waiting with an empty glass. Awesome spot to have a quiet drink by yourself, or have some drinks with friends in a beautiful, cozy bar with great views. Will be coming back for sure!
