I recently dined at Black Diamond, and I must say, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was inviting, setting the perfect backdrop for a family dinner. I ordered the burger, and it was absolutely fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
What truly impressed me was how well the whole family’s dinner went. Each dish we tried was delicious, and the appetizers were particularly on point. They were bursting with flavor and a perfect way to start our meal.
If you’re looking for a place that offers great food and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Black Diamond. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

After a year of them being open I thought we should give it a try. My only disappointment was we hadn’t gone sooner. The scallops and French onion soup are among the most flavorful things I have ever eaten. Sherice was absolutely wonderful, give her credit for three mentions for this post. Chef Bobby was great. My only critique, no ribeye option. I won’t be driving to Columbus any. Well done.

This place is amazing, the atmosphere great and the bartender Nicole is outstanding. First time ever having deep fried green beans omg to die for. The Prime Rib is on point had it mid rare. The organic brown rice pilaf perfect. if you haven’t tried this Circleville Gem you need to asap!! I should have taken the picture of the fried green beans before I started to dig in it but couldn’t help myself.

We recently dined at Black Diamond Steakhouse expecting a standout experience compared to typical chain restaurants, but unfortunately, we would have been better off going to chain.
We were celebrating my best friend’s husband’s 50th birthday and wanted something special, but the experience was disappointing.
While the 2 appetizers we ordered were very good, the main courses were not. Three of us ordered the same steak at the same temperature with different sides, yet all three steaks arrived as different cuts and only one was cooked correctly. The other two were extremely overcooked, tough and looked more like breakfast cuts then steakhouse-quality meat.
Our server apologized several times and even acknowledged the cuts were incorrect. Unfortunately, the steak that had to be replaced belonged to the birthday guest, and by the time the replacement arrived, the rest of us had already finished eating. Additionally, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were cold. Dessert was the highlight of the meal.
We did not take photos because we chose to enjoy dinner without our phones.
For $200 spent on two appetizers and dessert, the experience was unacceptable. Overall, we were highly disappointed and would not return.

I got the 6oz petite fillet and it was cooked to perfection. Added on a Cesar salad. They had many sides to choose from, but I went with the gratin potatoes and those were so delicious, cheesy and hot! Kendeal was our server and she was very attentive and very sweet. Husband and I highly recommend this place.

GREAT dining experience! Very cool-looking space mixing new with the vintage (loved the exposed brick). Service was terrific. The Black Diamond bourbon and wine are top shelf without the top-shelf price and the filet medallions were grilled to perfection. We’ll be back soon!

Came at around 6:30 and was meet with a 10 minute wait for drinks alone (the front was basically empty). When we ordered a 6oz. $30+ steak we asked for medium only for it to come out 45 minutes later, rare. When the steak was sent back they brought us back the same piece of small steak with a piece we cut off that what completely burnt on the plate(they just reheated it). Two prime ribs were ordered both medium rare and one came out looking gray. Our server switched with another girl before our food even came out. The young lady was very professional and was apologetic about the mistake. Drinks were not refilled when requested, one salad was missing dressing and 1 appetizer took 20 minutes. A manager came back and when told about the poor experience blamed it on her servers. We got a store bought cheesecake slice as compensation but the prime rib and steak was not taken off the bill. Go here if you want to sit in a poorly decorated musty old building with lackluster food, under staffing, and managers that say their staff isn’t trained enough. Not worth $193 and 248 after the tip. The food had barely any flavor as well.

Our first time was 12-23-25, it won’t be the last. Beautiful inside, music wasn’t too loud. Comfortable and lighting was just right. The staff working wasn’t large, but you couldn’t tell it. They hustled and flowed beautifully. The manager, she was the best. I wish I could, on a first try, nick pick the food. Nope apps- pretzels with real cheese and house made chips with artichoke dip. Both amazing. Drinks on point, steak, salmon and pork chops were awesome. Probably the best pork chop ever. This is class A big city luxury dining. In small town history building. With small town atmosphere and prices.

The Black Diamond is truly a “gem” in Circleville!! Since it opened its doors I have enjoyed excellent cuisine and professional service. Servers are always knowledgeable, go above and beyond and are highly trained which adds to the incredible experience. Whether you are going in for a GNO, family dinner or date night the diverse menu and price points have something for everyone. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Right on par with anything you could get in Cbus!
