One of my favorite sandwiches is the Ruben. It was slightly oily, but honestly the portions of corned beef and sauerkruat, made up for it. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and had the cabin vibes going on. I am happy I stopped here. I do recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We were staying in a town 30 min away and wanted something for dinner. We decided on this cozy looking restaurant. We walked in and loved the atmosphere of old-fashioned mom and pop. The hosted greeted us and got us seated in a timely manner. The service all around was awesome, especially from our waitress who was patient with my wife’s indecisiveness lol. The food was the lowest part of the experience but it wasn’t bad, just not the best. All and all we recommend this place if you’re like us visiting this area.

I went to Black Bear for my Birthday. We had excellent service. I had the Bears choice. The eggs and ham steak was excellent but the biscuits and gravy were stone cold. And the service was really good at first, but after the food was brought to us she didn’t come back or else I would’ve complained about the biscuits and gravy. And another thing the waitress was sicker than a dog so she should’ve stayed home. She was coughing and she was on the verge of losing her voice. She did not have any consideration to wear a mask.

Loved this place! The atmosphere and service were grand, just like every other Black Bear diner in the state. I ordered the volcano breakfast and substituted the pancakes for some red skin potatoes, and my husband got the stew, and a burger and fries. My scrambled eggs with cheese were pretty overcooked and rubbery, my husband’s beef stew was very processed tasting, but everything else that came to the table was truly fantastic. It’s a reliable place to meet and eat with friends and family.

With a group of 34 people being sitting within less then fifteen minutes and and served within 30 minutes. The waitresses were nice for the “last minute notice.” if they’d answered the phone to reserve the tables we had probably wouldn’t have waited. called 8 times

A very busy place. As a person who doesn’t eat meat, my choice was the fish & chips. It was almost OK. The coleslaw salad was dominated by the white portion of the cabbage. The dish’s size is generous.
Top: On Friday nights they have all you can eat fried fish platter.

Great food and consistently good here. I ordered a pot roast sandwich; it was well-cooked and had great flavor. The fries were cooked well and had a nice crisp. They serve bacon ranch that they make from scratch here, and it is never a disappointment. No complaints from anyone at the table on their food; everyone got something different. The atmosphere was good for an early dinner, and of course, there are bears everywhere. The server was attentive and checked on us multiple times. I definitely recommend going here.

Got the pot roast. Potatoes were still crunchy. I can see a little tough but they shouldn’t crunch like they were still raw. Ear piercing’s waitress came for hubby’s refill while I sat there waiting and she never came back until she brought the bill. She seemed shocked that we all wanted dessert and I needed a refill. The guy in front of us had to call her over and ask her if they even did refills. Not worth the 17% practically forced tip.

We were passing through Klamath Falls early this morning in route to the coast and had a fantastic meal. The Chef absolutely takes pride in his work and thenpresentation to the customer, which I appreciate and notice. Service was a little lacking, but our server was friendly when available.

Wasn’t looking for much and received just that. The Christmas decorations in October were a bummer for me. The waitress prepared to seat another man (while my husband was in the bathroom) she assumed was my husband was uncomfortable for everyone,
