We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of pot roast and tri-tip dip! So yummy and way above our expectations in flavor and portion size! We are visiting from out of town and plan on going back for a yummy breakfast before leaving the area. A must place to enjoy good home cooked meals!

The waiter was really rude. Not even the waiter in New York City was this terrible.

I ordered the Tri-Tip. He asked me how I’d like the meat cooked.

This is my first time coming to Black Bear Diner, so I asked what he would recommend.

He said he was asking me a question, and even said “You have ordered meat in any other restaurant, right?”

I have never met a waiter who was this rude. I will never come to this place ever again.

Wonderful breakfast, the chicken fried steak with eggs, potatoes and sweet cream pancakes were so good, and a great deal for 15.99. my friend got biscuits and gravy and he said biscuits were soft and gravy was really good. Coffee was excellent with unlimited refills. Customer service was great with very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this spot if you are visiting the area.

Was a great experience! Food was fast and prepared amazingly. First time trying the mac n cheese, and I’ll be getting that every time. Had a NY steak. It was cooked perfectly, how I like. Staff is amazing and very helpful and eager.

We stayed at Laughlin Nevada and found this restaurant for lunch before we go home. The black bear themed restaurant is cute. Good food selection and good price. Laughlin does not have too many restaurants choice. Suggest to look for restaurants in Bullhead Arizona which just on the other side of the river.

Quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had…. Ever . While in the area for business, I noticed the parking lot was packed. I figured that to be a good sign, so I stopped in to give it a try. Boy or boy am I glad I did. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. The atmosphere was a comfortable country type diner. The coffee was tasty and smooth. But it was my breakfast that took it over the top. I had the ScramBowl which was loaded with flavor! It was a fusion of different breakfast items that all worked incredibly well together. Absolutely delicious with a perfect hint of spicy heat. I certainly plan to go back and try more items next time I’m in town. Although I can’t speak to much else on the menu, I can say you most certainly won’t leave hungry no matter what you order. Every plate I saw come out of the kitchen had a GENEROUS helping of food on it. Delicious food, generous portions, and great staff… this place has it figured out.

While I typically love Black Bear Diners, this one was just okay. Service was super friendly and great and in spite of being very busy on a Thursday morning but the food was just, meh. On our recent visit, my wife ordered the Cinnamon French Toast and it was pretty good but I ordered a California Omelette and the portion size was considerably smaller in size than what I’ve gotten a plenty of other locations. Also, the potatoes were under cooked, a bit on the cold side and to be honest, tasted kind of funny. I didn’t even bother eating more than a few bites and only after doctoring it up with some ketchup and Papa Burn hot sauce. Otherwise, the coffee and orange juice we got was good and the overall feel of the restaurant was nice so if you’re in the area and with friends, it’s still a worth a visit. Just know, compared to other Black Bears, the food is just alright.
