Will give it another try but my first stop was not great. Our server was unpleasant the rare moments she graced us with her presence. She acted like she was swamped but there was a hostess, a bartender, 1 other server and only 4 small tables with customers. The ribeye was the most flavorless steak I’ve ever had in my life but very tender. I will probably stick to the buffet as that looked great and wouldn’t depend on wait staff for things so much.

We visited here based on a recommendation from a friend. I’m not sure if there has been a change in staff/cooking or what, but unfortunately our visit was not very good. We went on a Prime Rib night. Steaks were bland – no seasoning. Cooks may need a little education on cooking steaks, as rare does NOT mean still frozen anywhere on the steak. “Mashed Potatoes” were really Instant Potatoes – YUCK!! For a Supper Club, this visit was sub-par. Hope you can get things fixed so service is better.

I liked the atmosphere. However my iced tea tasted like lemonade. I asked for tartar sauce and got horseradish. However, horseradish fish is somewhat interesting. I’d go there again, maybe just an off day. Enjoyed the folks working there. Theres a pool table and a bar too. Were lots of locals inside … or so they seemed.

Very limited menu bar was very busy more like a bar and grill would not call it a supper club. Prime rib was good $19 for queen size had mashed potatoes w gravy you could tell the gravy came from the refrigerator the put on top due to texture. Not in a hurry to go back

Great atmosphere and decent food. While not the top of my list, it deserves a visit once in a while. On my last visit I had a trio of sirloin, walleye, and pork (brisket I believe). The walleye was great, the pork and sirloin were not the greatest.

Whenever my Husband, Kevin and I come up to Augusta, WIsc to visit family we ALWAYS make a point of having dinner at The Black Bear Supper Club!! We just LOVE the Fish Fry!!! The Prime Rib is great and my absolute favorite is their Fried Chicken!!! No One make Fried Chicken the way the BLack Bear Supper Club does!!!! In fact just writing this makes my mouth water!!! I so miss all those wonderful meals!! We live in Elgin, Ill and we so wish there was place like Black Bear here!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Had a new York strip. It was not a choice steak. I was a packing house supervisor for 30 years and that was not a choice steak. They probably get them from the locker plant in town. Looks like they just opened to get the place sold. Not much effort.

Nice friendly bar with prompt service. It’s not a supper club, it’s a bar and grill. Good semi-circle bar arrangement, you can see everyone there.
