Black Angus XL Steakhouse in Köln impressed me from start to finish. The Tomahawk steak was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. For dessert, the Tiramisu was perfectly creamy with just the right coffee kick, and the Chocolate Mousse was rich, smooth, and indulgent. Great atmosphere and attentive service—highly recommended for steak lovers!

The atmosphere was decent — a bit loud, but not uncomfortably so. However, the food was quite disappointing. We ordered the mixed meat platter, and unfortunately, all the meats were overcooked and rather dry, which really took away from the experience. For the quality offered, the prices were extremely high. Overall, not worth the money.

Food Quality: food was ok. Definitely not authentic. Dont put “Wiener-Art” schnitzel if you dont mean it (should be calf but only options were chicken or pig)

You will never go wrong with the Black Angus burger and steak. 100% excellent quality and mouth watering dishes. Burger was 10 out of 10, but fillet steak was little dry – probably because we mentioned medium well. If you go with steak, it is highly recommended to go with Medium done. Well done Black Angus XL. Food ordered was only meat and kartoffels so unbelievable it took more than one hour to get it. Not too crowdy. The meat was excellent but all together everything was overpriced. You had to pay for everything as extra. Not even one single vegetable om the plate. I will not go back.

Just felt like a complete rip off. Maybe being old town it was like the go to tourist place like Leicester Square. Where I was sitting I could see this guy in the kitchen hacking bits of beef off joints then slapping them with his hand. Most steaks you are just paying for the meat which is nothing special and if you want chips that is an extra 8 euros even though you paid 40 Euro for the steak. Ketchup is also charged. Want water they will charge for a bottle about 7 euros. My steak came mostly rare not medium rare but just could not be bothered to send back. Even though we had no starters or even deserts the meal still came in 50 euro more than we paid most nights. We ate at Toscanini one night and that was great meal the lamb was fantastic. There are better places out there both in quality and value for money. The only highlight was the lady who served us who was welcoming and provided good service.
