4 stars only because from the outside the place looks dark, closed, & abandoned.
I wouldn’t call the interior “upscale”. Just think, a very large & nice “Sizzler”.
The bar in it’s midst looked inviting, but we didn’t go for drinks.
We were a party of 4 and our bill was $150-ish. Service was good & timely, so the tip was above 20%. 1 ordered rib eye, 1 had end cut prime rib, 1 had lobster Mac & cheese (side), and I had steak-cobb salad.
The. Food. Was. Great! -Everything i remembered from “back in the day”.
Wish I made the kind of cheddar that would let me make it a weekly thing.
Back in November, the “Mrs” surprised me with a (take home) monster steak & lobster and I was in heaven.
I Know the place doesnt look like much from the outside and is hard to find because it’s so dark. But Please check this place out. You too will want to make it a regular thing. But in the end, we just can’t let places like these close down like all the rest (The Red Onion).

To celebrate Mother’s Day, I decided to take my mom to Black Angus Steakhouse and I’m really glad I did. I made a reservation in advance, so we were seated promptly upon arrival with no wait time, which was a great start to the evening. The staff was courteous, professional, and attentive, and they treated my mother with genuine kindness and respect, which I truly appreciated.

The interior was clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. For our meal, I ordered the ribeye steak, which came with a baked potato and a side of mac and cheese. Everything was excellent the ribeye was cooked perfectly to my liking, tender and flavorful. The baked potato was especially delicious, and the mac and cheese had a rich, creamy texture that made it a standout. The dish also came with shrimp, which were well seasoned and nicely cooked, adding a nice touch to the overall plate.

The food was flavorful across the board, and the quality of service made the entire experience even better. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Black Angus. It was a memorable dinner and a great way to celebrate the occasion. I’d definitely return in the future.

Ok, this was my first time ever at this restaurant and I can’t believe how horrible the service was at this establishment. We started off by being seated by hostess just to wait 15 minutes for our server who failed to reappear during my visit. We were instead served by thier General Manager John Akillian. Speaking of thier manager during my time here he or no servers ever came to check up on me or offer a refill of my water. I finished my meal and yet nobody came to check on me to see if I wanted a refill or not while John continued to entertain the booths beside me. I made an attempt to catch his attention but he just walked right beside me. The restaurant was not that busy and I projected my voice pretty loud enough yet he passed right through me. I have never felt that disrespected at any other restaurant. After 40 minutes waiting he has the audacity to offer me dessert. I respectfully denied his offer and just asked for the check. The party I was with also felt very unwelcome. I truly hope this doesn’t happen to any other customer at this location. Horrible service! The only highlight of my visit was the quality of the food. It was anaconda amazing. It’s sad that people can ruin such heart food.
