Me and my family went in last night for dinner And our server was amazing. She gave us so many options because my wife is very indecisive. We tried the new ribs. They’re really good. I wish the quantity was bigger. She let us try some of the beers. Came her for my daughter’s 18th bday. Staff was friendly, and food was served in a reasonable time. Food was delicious, i really enjoyed the pizza i got, and the rest of our party loved their entrees. The restaurant looked clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be back soon.

Me and some coworkers were in the Bakersfield area for work and we were looking for a place to hangout on a Wednesday night. This place did not disappoint! The atmosphere was great, they had all TVs tuned into sports, the Beer was cold and fresh, the chicken wings were delicious and the cute waitresses were very nice and happily engaged in conversations with us middle aged men.

Horrible service we received. We ordered chips with dip as an appetizer, and when it was brought to our table, there was a frozen chicken nugget sitting on top of the chips. Whether it was simply cold or actually raw and frozen, it is unacceptable that something like that was not noticed before being served. For our main dishes, we ordered a deep dish pizza. It was dropped off at our table without any plates, napkins, or utensils, and our server did not ask if we needed anything. We waited about five minutes, assuming they would return with what was needed, but they never did. Eventually, we had to get up and ask another employee for plates. I also ordered a pasta dish that I frequently order when dining here. Unfortunately, this time it did not taste fresh. It seemed reheated and noticeably greasier than usual, which stood out to me because I order this dish regularly. Throughout the meal, our server never checked in to ask how the food was, whether we needed anything, or if we wanted drink refills. The only time they returned to the table was when the checks were dropped off. We also ordered four pazookies for dessert. After about 15 minutes, only two were brought out. The remaining two arrived roughly 10 minutes later. Waiting 20–30 minutes for dessert, especially when they do not arrive together, is unreasonable. While the dessert itself was enjoyable, the wait significantly impacted the experience. The main reason my friends and I come to BJ’s is for group outings, but unfortunately this has been a recurring issue. This is the third visit in a row where our group of four to six people has experienced poor service. Because of this pattern, I am genuinely unsure if I would want to return in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as we have enjoyed BJ’s in the past and would like to see improvements moving forward.

Taylor was our server and she was awesome. Very customer friendly and paid attention to detail. We asked for several extras and she was very helpful. It is refreshing to have a server who checks in and has a great attitude. The restaurant was extremely busy as well. Thank you Taylor you were delightful.

My family and I have been coming to Bjs for a while now. What keeps us coming back often is the service. Our favorite server is Fabulla, If you come here, do yourself a favor and ask for her! She always remembers our orders, always checks in at the perfect time, and makes us feel like regulars even when it’s busy. Service like that is hard to find — and we appreciate it every time.
