Prime Rib and Pork Chop was insanely dry. Asparagus hard and super salty. Fries were oily and gross. Ranch was sour. Horseradish for the Prime Rib might be the worst I’ve ever had. Sad because I haven’t eaten here in 3 years and always loved my previous experiences. Anyway.

We went there to take advantage of the Veterans Day free pizzookie. I ordered mine specifically without ice cream and they put ice cream on it anyway. NBD. Still a great place with some amazing atmosphere.

I’m glad the ribeye made up for the salad cause it was sad from the dirty plate to the overabundance of ranch slathered on it. The ribeye and service was great however. I know a side salad might not be a popular choice at 10PM but c’mon what happened here?

I can’t remember the last time I got chicken fingers at a restaurant but I was feeling something simple. They aren’t on the menu but I asked, he said they were $15.99 so I said sure and ordered them. This is laughable and they didn’t even come with ranch. I never complain to the server so I sucked it up and ate it. Wife started to complain but I told her it was fine. Food tasted fine, but to me it was about $7 worth of food.

The only thing I enjoyed there was the Bobalicious Mango drink. As for the food, I ordered the Jambalaya, the appearance was terrible the Jambalaya was more like water and rice, traditional Jambalaya is not a soup, but I just couldnt eat mine. So not worth what I paid for.

BJ’s is a nice place for a group dinner and sports bar. There’s a ton of TV’s no matter where you sit. On this visit I ended up ordering the fish tacos. They were really good and filling. I got them fried, there’s an option to have them grilled too. Definitely a good spot for a date too. They have intimate sitting area’s too.

We had the best service at BJ’S yesterday afternoon. Our server Nuelia was an absolute delight. She made my Mom and I feel so welcome. She took her time to explain the items we were getting and made sure we got things the way we wanted it. It’s so nice when people treat others with kindness. We need more of that in the world. The staff completely inept at this location. Walked past the host stand without the hostess looking uo from her phone. Sat at the bar for nearly 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Finally got a beer and appetizer on order. Appetizer came out on a bare tray with no share plates or utensils. Main entrees were ok but had to flag down a passing server just to get utensils. Meanwhile the bartender drinking from a BJs to go cup behind the bar. Bathroom was a hot mess no paper towels and the urinal looked like it was about to fall off the wall. Wadded up paper towels on the floor in corridor between the mens and women’s room.

Lillian is frankly one of the best and most fun bartenders around. Very much enjoyed our Sunday afternoon watching the game and having some amazingly crafted drinks by Lillian. Try her old fashioned!
