I like this place. I came on a Friday happy hour and it was pretty busy. The menu is extensive and has lots of options. The beer selection is good (they are a brewery but have other options as well) including church music and kiltlifter. Their own beers are hit or miss for me I couldn’t finish the sample of tatonka stout but the committed double IPA was pretty good. They have happy hour from 4 to 7 (Monday to Friday) and also from 9 to close (Sunday through Thursday). I was able to get a titos vodka martini for 6 dollars (limited to 1.5 ounces, but still). They don’t have blue cheese stuffed olives but that’s just a personal preference. The sliders were good but if you add cheese it’s 1.99 extra, not a big deal, but on happy hour 7 dollar sliders it’s probably not worth the upcharge. The sliders were good and I imagine the regular burgers would be great. They have different specials everyday and I might have gone with the prime rib special if I had a huge appetite. Stop by if you are in the area the full menu and happy hour menus are attached.

If Michelin ever decided to loosen its tie and judge restaurants based on joy per dollar, BJ’s would quietly collect a star and pretend it didn’t notice.
Let’s begin with the architecture of generosity:
Happy hour runs 3–7, Monday through Friday, because restraint is overrated. Then—like a well-timed encore—Sunday through Thursday brings a reverse happy hour from 9–11, a gift to night owls and the fiscally wise.
Now the numbers, because math can be delicious:
$7 for a 22-ounce house beer. Not a tasting pour. Not a thimble. A proper beer.
$7 appetizers—five solid choices—or a personal pizza with up to four toppings, because customization is a human right.
And let me be clear: these are full appetizers. No dainty, existentially insulting portions. No “chef’s interpretation” of hunger. These plates arrive with confidence.
Weekdays? Even better.
Monday through Friday meal deals: $13 + tip, eight options, and—this part matters—a cookie dessert. Not a cookie. Many cookies. Choices. Freedom. Democracy.
Sundays bring Game Day happy hour, which somehow manages to be both lively and civilized. A rare feat.
BJ’s is solid even outside the deals—big portions, dependable quality—but what elevates it is something Michelin never quite measures: inclusion.
This is a place where everyone at the table can eat well, drink well, and relax—including the friends on a budget—without anyone feeling awkward, sheepish, or quietly starving.
Good beer deals matter.
Good food matters.
A place that lets everyone show up comfortably? That matters most.
This isn’t just a restaurant.
It’s our go-to.
And frankly, it earns that status every single time.

Service and atmosphere were great. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was mediocre. My ribeye was inedible. I ordered it medium rare and it was practically rare, chewy, and stringy. I know it’s not a steak house but come on!!! The fries and garlic-roasted veggies were on par. I asked for a bottle of Tobasco and that was the best tasting compared to what we ordered. So disappointed.

We were first timers. We weren’t store what to expect. There was a 15 minute wait to get a table. Our server knew the entire menu. His recommendations were good. We ordered the sampler to start. It came with 5 wings, 4 mozzarella sticks, 2 sliders, and spinach artichoke dip. We ordered our entrees. My son got the tri tip and shrimp scampi. My wife got the bbq bacon brisket cheeseburger and fries. I got the half rack of ribs, with mashed potatoes and a bread bowl of clam chowder. We also ordered a gluten free pizzookie. The flavors were amazing, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I recently visited BJ’s Restaurant with my friends and was really impressed with the food. I had the Clam Chowder soup which was so flavourful and I also had the Blackend Atlantic Salmon dish as main course. The flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The dishes had a great balance of taste and seasoning.
The only downside was the atmosphere—while the restaurant itself is nice, the music was a bit too loud, which made it hard to have a comfortable conversation at the table. If the volume was turned down just a notch, it would’ve been a perfect dining experience.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend BJ’s for the delicious food, but be prepared for a lively (and sometimes noisy) environment.

We ordered the sampler, smash burger, and a monkey bread pizookie and everything was wonderful! Every time we go here the experience is always great and every meal is fresh and flavorful.

The service was quick, despite a packed house. We had a party of three during a busy Saturday, but was seated in less than 10 minutes. The serving sizes were generous. Food selection was great, everyone found something. Our server was very nice and kept topping off our soft drinks.

I had a relatively hard day today and I was very hungry. It was a VERY busy Wednesday night for some reason so, I had a long wait. I finally was seated and my server, Reed came over and took my drink order for your hand made root beer. Reed returned with an ice cold mug of that delicious root beer. The root beer is awesome by itself but the nearly frozen mug takes this custom beverage to a completely different level! Then Reed suggested the limited time pizza with the hot honey drizzle! Holey smokes when Reed returned with that pizza, there was so much meat on the top of that deep crust, I couldn’t see the pizza! Reed also informed me that I had a free Pazookie coming! Could my night get any better? Before I could pay the check, Reed offered me a TA-GO cup of that crazy delicious root beer. I could not turn it down. Thanks to Reed’s fine service, my day was redeemed! He is an excellent server. I trust he is paid well as a valued member of your wait staff. Thanks, once again BJs and Reed for making an otherwise ruff day end on an excellent note!

BJs helped cater our orchestra event and they did a fantastic job! The staff that came were wonderful and helped our parent volunteers successfully serve 300+ guests.
The food was plentiful and tasty. We are so grateful for their community outreach to our music program.

The food was exceptional. Service was very poor. We were seated quickly (booth was dirty and had to wait to sit down until a bus boy came and cleaned the seats) but then waiting for 10-15 minutes for a server to come over to take our drink order. Then our order was incorrect but when the food finally came it was delicious. The vibe was way off and staff made you feel like you were an inconvenience. I will not be revisiting this particular location in Chandler.
