Stopped in with a party of seven and was pleasantly surprised that the wait time was only about 15 minutes—not bad at all for a group our size. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, which definitely made the experience better.
As for the food, I had the Jambalaya and the Pizookie for dessert. Both were decent, but honestly just ‘okay’ compared to other spots. Still, it’s a solid choice for a large group if you’re looking for good service and a quick seat in River City.

We had the best service!! The host was friendly, our waitress was a gem. She recommended some great brews and mixed drinks. We had a skinny marg, a Mojito. The coffee port was a favorite. We also had snacks. We had the California club and fries which were good. The sandwich hit as it should with bacon and avocado. We also had the chicken pot stickers. They were very good and flavorful that you didn’t need the dipping sauce. The best of the evening went to a new menu item the Korean sticky ribs. The ribs were cooked with the perfect tooth, tender but not falling apart. The sauce was so good it was not the sweet Korean sticky sauce some dishes have this one has a nice heat to balance the sweet. There is a cooling cabbage slaw with a nice tang of a dressing. Highly recommend the ribs if you like a bit of heat and prefer that to very sweet forward ribs.

We were incredibly impressed with how phenomenal the food tasted! Really. The Korean barbecue was 10/10 would absolutely recommend! And the caprese salad with balsamic, mozzarella cheese, and arugula was delicious! Our service was superb! We came in around closing time and Kendall was so patient with me as I changed my beverage order 3 different times and had all the questions about the menu. The margaritas we ordered were amazing but I really wish BJ’s would bring back the pink Cadillac! We had the soup and salad and chicken Alfredo. There were no leftovers to take with us!

We love going here. They always treat us so kind. The food is amazing. This is where we go to celebrate really important dates. It’s a upscale restaurant with a unique drink menu. Tiara was our server and she treated us like royalty.

We ate at BJ’s Brewhouse last night and had a mixed experience. We ordered three steaks, and two of them had a strong chemical taste. We brought it to our waitress’s attention, but she told us there was no way to remove the steaks from the bill and that our only option was to order something else.
If you’ve ever had food that tasted off, you know you’re not exactly eager to try something else from the same kitchen at that point. We asked to speak to a manager, and the waitress seemed to have a bad attitude about it.
The manager came out and handled the situation completely differently. He was professional, immediately said of course the steaks could be removed, and asked what he could do to make it right. He really helped resolve the issue.
Overall, the food was decent, but based on this experience, if you’re going for a steak, you might be better off heading to Texas Roadhouse instead.

Angel was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We celebrated my Aunt’s retirement with 30 people. She was patient, professional and very knowledgeable of the food. We throughly enjoyed her service. Angel recommended the strawberry poozie, which was scrumptious. Her manager, JP, was great also.

Ahi poke was great with guac at the bottom, chips were in good portion and airy and crisp.
Was greeted promptly upon entry.
My waiter Rose, was amazingly nice and experienced. She gave me more than enough time to read the menu. I just don’t like it when waiters get upset when you’re needing more time, because you never been here and don’t know the menu. I don’t know maybe she was working through lunch? I’m pretty good at reading menus before I go to restaurants because of the bad attitudes I get from waiters, I just like to try everything when there is good food on a menu so I have to decide based on my palette.
For a person who loves root beer the Craft vanilla root beer was very light and crisp..no froth
Women’s bathroom mirrors were streaky.
Seating was great for large groups with outdoor seating.
Poor lighting during mid day, hard to read menu.
Menu print is very tiny…bring your glasses.
I love how they have a huge bar with beer listings on the wall of seasonal and different types. Although I don’t drink alcohol.
Music selection was fantastic.

I ordered the tri tip 8oz. I wish is was described more as a steak because it sounded more like a rib tip.
Honey siracha Brussels sprouts sounded BURNT and smoky, they came cut in half I guess for flavor but was a bit too charry and burnt for me. The flavor was completely gone. I rarely ate any. The Ahi poke was fresh and chewy. Steak was well done. Great overall just sadden by the brussel sprouts because I love brussel sprouts.

Came here to celebrate. Best decision that could have been made! Tiara went above and beyond! Such excellent service! (I am a server as well, and admire her!) The hostess Andre was awesome as well! They were exactly what every restaurant needs! I hope BJ’s keeps these 2!!!! (This was a drastic improvement from the last time we were here!) Perfect ending for our celebration!! Thank you Tiara and Andre!
