We choose Bix & Co. before a show at the Val Air.

We started with the Cheese Curds. Cubed Wisconsin white cheddar cheese in a light and crispy beer batter with Bix’s pizza sauce. Wow, amazing flavor that just smacks your taste buds awake. What a fantastic start.

The Burger & Tots were good which we split. The burger is chuck, brisket, and short rib ground to perfection on a South Union Bakery Bun. The tots were nice and crispy.

The pizza was fantastic! We choose Tony’s combo no olives or shrooms, add onion with the Cup & Char Pepperoni and Graziano Sausage. Cracker this crust and the Bix’s pizza sauce. What a fantastic pizza, so delicious and perfect.

The service was great and we will be back.

IN the heart of the Historic Valley Junction. I’m happy to report that Bix and Co. has completely redeemed itself for me. After a less-than-stellar previous visit, we came back for the live music and had a fantastic time. Our waitress was wonderful; she was on top of everything from the moment we sat down. She quickly brought our drinks and checked in on us often. The Chicken Nachos were a definite highlight—fresh, smothered in chicken and bacon, and served with a pile of fresh jalapeños. The ambiance and entertainment were top-notch. I’m so glad we gave it another shot, and we’ll be back soon!

Based on Google Reviews i jumped in a ride share from the airport. It did not disappoint. At 4:45 on a Saturday it was packed and there was a wait for tables. I was able to get a seat at the bar. Tyler and company were outstanding. Good selection of cold beers on tap. I decided on the Italian beef egg rolls as an appetizer. WOW! Amazing flavor and a huge portion. Give this place a try it was outstanding.

Fun bar & grill in Valley Junction with plenty of indoor and patio seating available. Cheese curds were unique and delicious, just a light crispness, not heavy breading. Italian Beef was definitely a reason to go back! One of their great specialties. Fish & Chips was the special of the day, and my guest enjoyed it. The only complaint is I had to ask three times for ranch (when I ordered, when the food came, & lastly when waters were refilled). Parking can be difficult as Valley Junction is always busy.

Title: A Solo Adventure at Bix.co: Italian Beef Dreams Fulfilled!

So there I was, in the charming Historic Valley Junction for a meeting, and suddenly struck by a craving for Italian beef. I’d heard tales of Bix.co being the go-to spot for this classic, so I decided to check it out.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere—not a soul to welcome me at 2 p.m., but I assumed there was a shift change. The bartender, when she appeared, was fantastic! Attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to guide me through the menu, which was filled with bar food offerings that went beyond the usual greasy fare.

I couldn’t resist ordering the Italian beef sandwich—the star of the show! You can get it with hot or sweet peppers and even choose to have it “wet” with gravy. I also went for a side of pasta, which the bartender highly recommended.

The food arrived quickly, and let me tell you, the toasted bun held tender, seasoned beef that was almost perfect. Just a tad salty for my personal taste, but that’s Italian beef for you! The pasta was fresh but could’ve used a sprinkle more seasoning.

Overall, a delightful experience! I’d rate the food a solid four stars and the service a five. With the garage doors open to the patio, it really felt like a hidden gem on the corner of Historic Valley Junction. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this corner bar—it’s worth the stop!

The food was good. I had the 1/2 smoked gouda sandwich, with a side caesar salad. The sandwich was oozing with cheese, mushrooms, and onions, and rhe bread was buttery and crispy.

We enjoyed a cheese curds appetizer which was crispy on the ouside and melty.

The special was the meatball sub, which was tasty.

Absolutely phenomenal menu and sure to be the best available choice in Valley Junction once it opens fully in March 2023. Loads of 4K TVs for all the games, a pool table, a massive patio with outdoor bar access that has views of the Railroad Stage make Bix & Co. a perfect and much needed addition to the Junction.

The cheese curds are especially fantastic – surely the best available in the entire metro. Nothing on the menu is anything less than carefully prepared to be an absolute hit. It’s obvious the chef knows what they’re doing – and it’s fairly priced to boot.

Seating is plentiful and comfortable, and one very large table is available to suit parties of all different sizes.

Atmosphere is comfortable, casual, and up-scale – negating the somewhat “dive bar” vibe that some other places to eat in the area offer instead. You’re sure to find yourself staying for a few more beers once you sit down.

The bar has a fantastic selection, with a little something to try no matter your proclivity.

You can’t go wrong with Bix & Co. – this place is guaranteed to be a regular destination for other locals and an absolute must-eat-there for tourists shopping in the Junction.

Seated right away. The place was full by noon. March Maddness will keep them very busy. You will be out of luck if you want pizza or anything with Italian sausage. They didn’t get their order. The Italian sliders were very good. I also recommend the cheese curds. The chili was average, and the house wing sauce was okay. Great atmosphere for game watching. I’m looking forward to trying out the pizza.
