This place makes fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads. They also make soup as well (except during the summer I’m told). I’ve tried their broccoli cheddar and lentil soup, and they taste amazing! I love that they have Persian instead English cucumbers, they taste so much better! They mak their own hummus and fry to order falafel! There’s a menu if you’re unsure of what to get, though I always choose to build my own salad. To which I’ve added their tuna salad that they make themselves ( I can be quite picky with my tuna salads, and I love it!!!), as well as delicious freshly grilled chicken, and their steak is good too. Their salad dressing is really tasty as well. All of their staff are really kind and attentive as well. I wish they had more locations, especially one a block or less from my home would be nice… lol. One thing to note (I found out the hard way the first time I headed over there after church) is that they’re closed on Sundays.

Also, it can be a bit expensive (as I like ordering extra things), but what food place isn’t these days. I think it’s worth the price. So, I really can’t recommend this place enough. I always stop in on my way to physical therapy just down the street, or when I’m in the Redlands area… and when I’m not, I just order delivery from Grubhub .

What an excellent small business! This place is a gem. The salads are generous and the sandwiches are tasty. The staff are super friendly as well. Not only do they have signature salads but you can even build your own. I had the Cobb salad and everything was fresh and tasted great. The tuna sandwich was also very tasty, better than my home made for sure. Prices are very reasonable too. It you are in the area you owe it yourself to stop in and check it out. You may find a new favorite go to!

I been coming here since they opened I believe. First I was addicted to the salads then the wraps. I come to this place as a treat because of the prices are high for an everyday lunch. I took my mom here for the first time and usually I’ll build my own because I love veggies right. The male employee told me after 5 toppings it’s 50 cents per topping. I asked him when did you guys start that? He pointed to the wall and said we’ve always done it. I have never paid 50 cents for sprinkles of vegetables.

I went for an early lunch and decided to get the turkey avocado panini. The sandwich was very delicious but the meat ratio was very tiny and what I thought was meat was huge amount of cheese. I think next visit I’d ask for more meat less cheese.

My chicken caesar salad was ok. The chicken was overly dry and they only give you such a tiny container of dressing which is not enough for anyone, they should give you a large dressing and then pay for extra. Parts of mine also had some old discolored lettuce

My followers will remember that I eat vegetarian food on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am always looking for good places where I can avoid meat. While this business does offer a few items with chicken, it primarily fits the bill for me.
The store is brightly lighted and very clean. The four stars for Atmosphere are due to the rather bland approach to decor.
I was greeted immediately upon entering and I was pleased to see that the attendant washed his hands right away. As a first-time customer, he provided a brief explanation of the ordering system. He was friendly and courteous the entire time, although no one asked me how I was doing during my meal, which I ate inside.
I chose the Fabulous Falafel Salad ($13.75) and a 12-oz bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup ($5.49).
The lettuce was clean, cold, and crisp. The mixture included pickled red onions, where I would have preferred pickled turnips for greater authenticity. The scoop of hummus was generous but, unfortunately, it was cold. Hummus should be served at room temperature. The falafel balls were also cold and this is just wrong. Falafel should be eaten warm. The salad was covered in something they call “pita croutons” which looked and tasted like they had been fried. I would much prefer triangles of fresh pita bread. The lemon tahini dressing was watery and did not have much tahini seasoning.
The soup was hot and tasted good. The bits of carrot was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the soup was too thin, the broccoli was too finely chopped, and the cheese was not thick enough. The soup is a good effort but the recipe needs to be tweaked.
Finally, for a place offering healthy eating options, the cold beverage selection is dominated by Coke products and (mostly) sugar-sweetened teas, with only three brands of water.
So, this place is a nice alternative among a field over-crowded with burgers and fried food, but they need to work on their ingredients and preparation, at least for the two items I sampled.
I will definitely be back and choose a few other items next time.
For now, Bite Better is merely Recommended.
