Jason, Jeff, and Scott decided to open a brewery and serve wood fired brick oven pizzas. We opened 7/10/2020, yes during COVID! Come in for some unique pizzas that change almost every month, just like our beers. You can come in and try pizzas and beers that you have never had before. Appetizers? Yes. Desserts? Yes. BIT loves to always change things so you can always try something new. The days of going to a bar and drinking the same beer or eating the same bar food is over. BIT offers a great, small town feel where you will feel welcome with your friend or family. Come in and try some of our great craft beers, wonderful wood-fired, brick oven pizzas, or just enjoy some unique appetizers. We can’t wait to see you for some pizza and beer!

A small town brewery feel. BIT makes its’ own beer as well as hosting a guest tap filled by local Iowa Breweries. BIT also makes wood-fired brick oven pizzas.

I enjoyed an evening here with coworkers and peers from around the Midwest. The owner and employees were super nice, professional and accommodating. We all had a great time. While I didn’t get any food my friends did and it looked delicious. The wine I bought was wonderful. I also loved the decorations! I hope to spend more time here in the future.

Wow. Beer was on point. Pizza was delicious. The pretzel appetizer (yum) was appropriately sized and priced. The beer cheese and honey mustard dipping options were great. The margarita pizza was exceptional. Simple fresh ingredients made this a delight. The hot honey pizza was “fire” in all the right ways. It will be hard to stray from next time we go.

The bathroom was spotless. It was so clean it made me notice how exceptionally clean The whole restaurant was.

Well done folks. I will make this a must stop when visiting Central City.

Want an amazing meal with a perfect brew? Look no further than the Bit Brewery in Central City. A cornucopia of delicious brews from stouts, ipas, and sours, with a modern rustic touched bar. The food is hand made and the pizza fired to perfection. While there, ask about the blue accented wood bars and tables. A perfect place to eat, chat and relax. Bit Brewery. Fresh and delicious!

We had a great night. Good service.even though they were busy. Expect a little bit of a wait for your food, they get lots of online/take out orders. Gives you a good opportunity to sample all the great brews! I like sweet so Cherry Cider was right up my alley!

Love that beer menu keeps changing and great beers every time they do this. Love the fun names of the beers as well. With the menu changing frequently will try to post it here since we go frequently as well.

As for the pizza it’s the brick oven type and is really good. They have there own set ones but even the build your own is really good.

Desert pizzas are awesome as well. We have had the Nutella and M&M, and the Apple crisp and they are awesome (note they don’t always have the same desert pizza).

Definitely worth the trip from Marion or CR.

Pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had. The blackout cider with lemonade was amazing. Would highly recommend to families and individuals desiring a sit down atmosphere where you can enjoy food and conversation.

We stopped in for the first time and was welcomed by friendly staff and the great smell of fresh baked pizze from a wood fired over. We had the Iowa pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The beer is brewed in small batches and is very delicious. This is a great place to stop and enjoy fresh beer and fresh pizza.
