What seems to be the only Japanese steakhouse close in Boston found in Cambridge, MA. It’s located within a Courtyard Marriot right as you walk in on the right. The atmosphere feels very old/retro from like the early 2000s. Nothing has probably changed in there for years. The hibachi chef who cooked for us was very aggressive, with begging for the plates to be close to the flattop so he could hand off the food as it was done. Other than that, the food was decent. The prices weren’t too bad. It was a decent hibachi experience.

Hidden hibachi restaurant within a hotel. Free parking. My group went on a Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of space available. We ordered the filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken teriyaki. The food and service was great! The chef was very engaging and energetic.

The first thing you realize when you step into the restaurant is the strong fishy smell. when I had ordered takeout I noticed it but didn’t pay much attention. Today we dined in and the smell is everywhere. We tried changing places but there was another muggy smell around the bamboo lined seats. Next thing is the sticky tables like someone spilled syrup and hastily cleaned up.

The only thing that welcomes you in this place is the awfully heavy smell of fish and meat. Only the show of the chef is worth going. Incredibly rude servers, they are very distant and almost mean, you feel you’re gonna get yelled at for asking a drink. They just expect people eat and leave immediately, we were a crowded group and wanted to eat ice cream after, they brought the check even before we finished our food. I gave this place 3 chance, every one was a disaster. There are for sure better places to eat Japanese food.

Nice experience. the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, the service spot on and the food good. Fun experience when you are with a group. Parking was free which is incredible for Cambridge.

Came in for a quick dinner since my friends and I were in Cambridge area tonight. Originally we just wanted drinks and sushi but since there was space, we decided to do hibachi instead! We go to hibachi quite often and the volcano onion trick is always a ton of fun! Never gets old. Fun time! Everyone was friendly and had lots of laughs!
