A spectacular dining experience from start to finish! The layout of the restaurant is clever and inviting with the bar separated from the main dining area with large glass panels that allow a view while keeping noise low while dining. Lennox has several quality restaurant options and we narrowed it down to 3 before choosing Zinc. It was the menu that made the choice for us, a combination of classic and unique dishes each done to perfection! Something for everyone and all was handled by an experienced staff of professionals. We look forward to our next visit.

We were on a short driving tour of the Berkshires and staying at a hotel near Lenox. We drove out everyday for sightseeing and dining. One night we booked a table at Bistro Zinc. They have a large parking lot behind the building which is good as street parking is difficult.
We were greeted warmly at the entrance and seated immediately. We ordered wine and were served immediately. We ordered Faroese island salmon and boeuf bourguignon to share. Nice sized portions and most delicious.
Waiters were efficient and pleasant.
Beautiful front dining room and a very busy bar in the back. Overall a 5 star dining experience.
Highly recommended.

This bistro has a pleasant atmosphere to relax awhile. You might as well because the food was slow to come out. The servers were very busy but still friendly. The soup du jour was cucumber gazpacho, which was refreshing on a hot day but tasted oddly too sweet. The french dip was delectable and the fries were excellent. The chicken paillard was also cooked and seasoned well, but the accompanying salad lacked substance for a dish that came with no starch or bread. The greens were only a few small tomatoes buried under a mountain of arugula. For the price they were charging, I expected a bit more.

Our server Carlos was wonderful and the atmosphere was excellent, my flounder was delicious, although the portions were a bit small. My partners chicken came with three large pieces and a pile of mashed potatoes, while my flounder was only 2 fried slices. Still a good experience, and the peanut butter cookies were delicious

Excellent food and great portions. Only thing that kept this from a 5 star was being charged for soda refills. Would not have had a refill if they let me know up front. Paying $9 for one person’s soda is a little crazy.

Pizza was good… except they don’t even serve pizza. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was the worst dinner I’ve ever had.
The Linguini & Clams tasted like pure salt, the Soup du Jour was completely bland, and the Duck Rolls honestly felt more like pulled pork with BBQ sauce. I couldn’t even finish the dishes.
I actually stopped by a local pizzeria afterward to fill my belly and get the bad taste out of my mouth. I had no idea a meal could taste this bad until now. Even someone blindfolded and cooking with no hands could have made a better dish than what they served.
Highly not recommended. Avoid at all costs. You’re better off starving or grabbing something from a supermarket.

Passing through and stopped in for lunch. Food was amazing. French onion soup was out of this world! Salad was fresh and had the burger which was excellent. Service was adequate, which is not great considering the prices. She did her job and not an iota more. Disappointing to say the least. Awesome artwork! Worth stopping in, but if you are looking for a dining experience and not just good food, there are enough other choices.

Ate her with my friend friends after cocktails. Very expensive but very good. To start we got the duck confit rolls and the short rib dumplings. Both had great flavor and were a good light snack before dinner. For the main entrees I got boeuf bourginon which was really delicious. The meat was tender and they have you plenty of sauce for the potatoes. My friends split the streak frittes and a pasta with shrimp. They loved it. We also got some cocktails. This is definitely fine dining and the bill was expensive so this is more of a time to time place to eat at. Overall we were satisfied.

The Peugeot pepper grinders were a nice touch. Salmon and Burger were perfectly done. The fried oysters however were extremely breaded and absorbed with oil.

Wayy overrated .. this restaurant doesn’t deserve a 4.5 rating; not when you are charging $35++ for an overcooked salmon. And definitely not when still insist that it’s medium rare when I asked about it. See the picture/video below, is that medium rare to you??!
I think this place is way understaffed. The food came out really slow .. and the service was almost none existent, especially at the bar.
Not coming back, better go elsewhere for a real fine dining experience.
