This was our first meal on Mackinac and it was terrific! The food is good (you might find better on the island as you explore, but Bistro was very good), but it is the service and setting that make this a great stop during a visit to this charming town. Yes, the prices are island-high, but that’s true of just about everywhere on Mackinac. Bistro is definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place to eat while on the island! We had the best waiter, I don’t remember his name but seemed like all the waiters there were trying to make it the best experience for everyone!! Our food was amazing also, and to sit outside in the beautiful area, you can’t get much better than that!! Pictured is a hibiscus lemonade drink, very good!!

So this is the best restaurant in the Mackinac island where you can just sit and enjoy your drink facing towards the beautiful lake and island view. The cocktails are perfect here and the ambience is great. All staff are good and friendly helping customers to pick what they are looking for. The only suggestion I have for them is to add more variety of food in their menu, something hot and with flavours. Should help adding more chicken dishes. They also have golf are which was small but good. Overall our experience was great here and would love to visit again.

Great food, drinks and you can’t beat the view! Went here with another couple and everyone enjoyed their food. I got the roasted chicken and everyone else got the burger and fries. My meal was $30 and the burger/fries were $18 when we went. All the food was great and the fries were outstanding! Everyone around us had the truffle fries as an appetizer and they looked amazing! I got a pina colada & a drink that is similar to a Malibu sunset with mackinaw rum! The mousse was also amazing!!

Didn’t get a chance to actually eat the food here as our party was turned away. We approached with 8 people, were told they were putting a table together for us and that it would be a few minutes. After 10 minutes, we were told they had forgotten about a party of 14 that was coming and we would need to wait. We were quoted 15-20 minutes on our wait. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we were informed they would not be able to seat us and directed to leave. Poor service and poor FOH management.
