1st time at well known place. Went far left field from comfort order standard I fall into. KUDOS to waitress recommended entree Pork Chop. Legit!! I did get slaw on side vs on top…I ended doing combo slaw and chop on fork……so I would go back and get same dish as supposed with slaw on top.

Definitely a restaurant we’ll be returning to! Smallish with a great vibe and atmosphere, locally owned and operated.The food and service was delightful. Nice size servings, well worth the prices. The lobster wrap appetizer was decadent and I had a stir fry loaded with fresh veggies in a lightly spiced teriyaki sauce… delicious. Jennifer, our server was so personable, helpful and alert!

Decided to try this place while in town because of its great reviews. The wait was unbelievable. I don’t mind waiting, but it was ungodly hot in the restaurant. Our waitress was great. Super friendly. Very nice woman. When the food finally arrived it was the biggest disappointment. The special was the tiniest portion, no taste, and over cooked. We also had the chicken Marsala plate. Both were disappointing as well. Tiny portion. It reminded me of brown gravy as opposed to a Marsala sauce. Mashed potatoes tasted instant. The chicken was chewy and not appetizing. The price, outrageous for what you get served. I absolutely do not mind spending money on great food. But this was the biggest waste of $120 I’ve ever spent. Seriously lacking.

I’ll get photos next time. I was too busy devouring my dinner. Hollywood oysters, Korean Short Rib Tacos and Diver Scallops with Potato Gnocchi and thick cut bacon. It was great. Service was just as excellent. We sat at the bar. Going again very soon. Menu changes and weekly specials. Second trip I had the Chicken and Dumplings, dumplings are potato gnocchi, soooooo good. My friend had the pot roast. He said it was amazing. Never fails this place is one of the best locally!

Absolutely love this place. From the decor to the drinks to the food… EVERYTHING is just wonderful. My dish – the lobster saffron risotto – was amazing, while my wife’s dinner – the chicken francaise – was cooked to perfection. Thanks again Bistro for another wonderful evening!

Beware, not kid friendly! Although the food is phenomenal, we spend a lot of money going here often. When we asked for chicken fingers and fries to go, the server (very friendly and professional) stated that the Chef stated that he could ONLY make it for here, not TO GO. We stated that’s unusual, well then we’ll have it for here. The Chef stated that our child already ate, so he wasn’t willing to make it and refused to serve our son. When I professionally spoke to the owner on the side, he stated that it might be because their busy, but that’s probably not what parents want to hear and apologized. We will never go back here as we all agreed (even the server) that we were dumbfounded and confused as to why they would not make us the chicken fingers and fries for our son to go or for the table!

Ridiculous. Reservations at 7pm (which we are right on time for) for 2, hostess says it will be a while, have a seat at the bar (as I notice 2 tables open). We sit at the bar, it’s now 715 and the bartender finally decided to take our drink order. 720, drinks in hand. 2 couples walk while we patiently wait for the hostess to come over and seat us. Instead they get seated. 730, getting really annoyed. 2 more tables open, still no sight of the hostess. Drinks are about empty at the bar, guess what, no sign of the bartender either! Well 740, I have had enough, paid for the 2 drinks and got out of there! Never again, what a joke!

I love this place! It’s a cute little restaurant for happy hour or dinner, I went here with a bunch of girls and the customer service was great, even if you have a large group, they take really good care of you and are very respectful, there specials are changed daily, portions are large prices are very reasonable food is very fresh and delicious
