Bistro Nautile holds a special place in our hearts. We were regulars back when it was known as Fish, and the owner and staff have always been incredibly warm and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely TOP shelf. It’s the only place I consistently choose for a solid dinner in Fort Collins. The prices are more than fair for the exceptional quality you receive. Every dish reflects care, creativity, and a commitment to fresh, sustainable ingredients. But what truly sets this place apart is the sense of community created by the Bistro team.
Full disclosure—we’re a little partial now, because our son works there! That said, we were loyal patrons long before he joined the team. Watching him become part of such a thoughtful, tight-knit, LOCAL restaurant family has only made our connection stronger. The owner has cultivated something truly special: a place where staff, guests, and food all feel like they belong. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. Bistro Nautile is the first place I recommend to anyone visiting or living in Fort Collins. There’s simply no better spot in town. My wife and I celebrated 18 years of marriage last night and enjoyed the included pics as part of our order. Along with everything we ordered, the oysters were outstanding and the Flounder was amazing!

This place is quaint and homely. We were greeted by the owner and treated like regulars, though it was the first time me and my wife had been here (her parents had been before, but it had been quite a while since they’d been in). The food was excellent. Bright fresh flavors brought out the nuance of the seafood nicely. Every course was well executed and full of flavor. The clam chowder was some of the best I’ve had. The portions were generous. It was a fun touch to have the tables covered in paper and each table had a cup of crayons to doodle as you wait (though we never had to wait long for anything). Though it doesn’t feel as fancy or “date night” as some of the other places in town for the price, the food tasted the part and I would recommend giving Bistro Nautile a try!

My husband and I visited Bistro Nautile for the first time tonight for Valentine’s Day, and it was exceptional. As self-proclaimed foodies we couldn’t believe such a tasty spot has existed in town without our knowing. We are from Louisiana where you cannot get seafood any fresher, and yet the seafood here in land-locked Fort Collins, Co was AMAZING. If you’re looking for exceptionally well prepared AND seasoned food with great service – this is your spot.

If you want delicious and elevated seafood dishes, this is the place. One of my favorite restaurants. I’m from the East coast, so I know my seafood! HH is a great deal. Get the crab cakes! Every dish I’ve tried here has been A+. PS: the service is great (Janna is awesome), and the kitchen orders the food perfectly.

Absolutely delicious. Came here for a birthday and our waitress was so accommodating and kind. We had the Friday special and I’ve never tasted anything like it. The broth was delicious and it was stuffed with seafood. The caramel addition to the key lime pie was 10/10
Cocktails were also extremely good, looking forward to coming back for happy hour in the near future!
