A little French gem in the heart of Brighton! The atmosphere is super cozy and the customer service was impeccable: the person who served me was kind and attentive. I walked in out of curiosity and decided to try one of their desserts, and I was blown away! The pistachio and chocolate combo was amazing. I’ll definitely be back soon to try the mains.

Just came from a few weeks in central France tour, and was pleasantly surprised to find the same food and atmosphere locally. I have now visited this place on few occasions and very pleased to advise that the service and food is absolutely amazing. Depending when you book, you can wait 5 to 10 minutes to be seated as it depends on the previous customer leaving and your place is fully set for you.
The waiting time for food may vary, however is well within the expected timeframe for the restaurant (even on busy Saturday night).
Fantastic collection of alcohol to accompany your selection of entree, mains or desserts. Large variety of French, Australian wines and good choices of spirits.
Just to summarise, the place has a true feel of classy bistro somewhere in Paris, Reims or Cannes.

The portions were small and pricey, but that is to be expected…We did enjoy all of the food, it was very flavoursome. I thought that the creme brulee probably had too much cream in it and not much egg, compared to ones I’ve tried in other french restaurants.
The staff were quite attentive and pleasant to deal with. The food came out fairly quickly, and we didn’t have to wait too long between the courses.
The candles on the tables gave it a romantic ambience. However, I would suggest that they add some more decor to give it a more Parisian vibe.
Overall, it was a nice dining experience 🙂

Beautiful elegant and spacious dining room with a lovely ambiance.
The service was absolutely sensational and never missed a beat, from start to finish.
Fantastic food menu- French at its best. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The crab croquettes, the confit duck, and chocolate hazelnut pudding were absolutely sensational.
Great wine list too.
Overall a really wonderful night out – everything was perfection.

We had a very good dinner at Bistro La Provence with good ambience and excellent service from Lindsey, very good food (not the best French Onion Soup and Beef Bourguignon I’ve ever had, but very good) and broad menu, but disappointingly no Vegetarian Main Meal and limited other vegetarian options. Beer list could have been a bit more interesting, but wine list was very good.

Fantastic food. The quality and taste of food really exceeded my expectations. Everytime was packed with flavour and love. From the gorgeous french escargot that you want to soak up with bread to an amazing fresh mackerel on fennel dish that was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. The French soup even though sounds simple ended up being a flavour explosion. Lovely atmosphere and really enjoyed our experience. Just take note if you are going for am 8.15pm the restaurant gets quite busy so it may take a bit to get started.
Highly recommend dining here if you want to experience high quality flavourful french food.

I’ve been a bit disappointed by the shredded confit duck paté due to a lack of seasonning or by the snails in garlic butter parsley. This last one was a re-visited recipe, Which did not have this deep taste as expected.
However, the beef cheek Bourguignon with vegetables and the confit duck leg with orange sauce were tasty and delicious.
The crêpes Suzette flambee with Grand Marnier was good and well served. Do not recommended this one for those not drinking alcohol, as it is strong.
