Fabulous service and the food was very good. Some of our favorite dishes were the octopus, croquettes, and crème brûlée. The ambience was also very nice, especially in summer when it’s light late!

The food was delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered, and paired beautifully with the blue sauce. The gratin dauphinois was super fondant and full of flavour, and to finish, the tarte tatin was simply divine.

But the highlight of the evening was our French waiter, Jimmy, who was amazing from start to finish being attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Merci Jimmy for such a great service!

Amazing food and service. Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and the flavour profile of the food is perfectly balanced. The Octopus starter was a showstopper; the confit duck leg was fantastic as well. Overall a great restaurant. Can’t wait to be back.

Came here for dinner and ordered the smoked cod croquette, swordfish tataki, beetroot parisienne gnocchi, tempura fish, and chocolate fondant. For starters, the croquette was hot and crispy, filled with shredded cod and paired with a creamy squid ink aioli; and the swordfish tataki was light and refreshing with the cucumber which was flavoured with a lemon and chilli emulsion. The parisienne gnocchi was light and airy, topped with some grated cheese and crispy kale for some texture; it was flavour packed from the rich garlic emulsion, balanced with the occasional sweetness of the beetroot. For mains, had the tempura fish which was paired with cucumber and cream and dollops of parsley emulsion. The fried fish was tender and meaty but the coating was not crispy; pairing of the parsley emulsion and the side of cucumber and cream was a bit plain and one dimensional. The gratin dauphinois side dish was much better; the thinly sliced potato was baked with cream till soft and topped with plenty of stretchy cheese which was melty but not gummy. For dessert, had the dark chocolate fondant which was paired with raspberry sorbet. The fondant is filled with a liquid orange which was mild and not overpowering, and the tartness of the raspberry sorbet balances the rich chocolate sweetness; however the basil crumble was very hard and crunchy which didn’t go well with the soft fondant. Overall everything was tasty except for the tempura fish which was underwhelming. Service including the pacing of the dishes was good.

Hubby and I had dinner here on Saturday night.
We ordered escargots and baked goats cheese for entree, tempura spanner and sea rockling for mains, tarte tatin and cafe gourmand for dessert, plus a carafe of shiraz wine. It was nice to receive complimentary bread at the beginning of our meal.
All the foods were delicious, however not all were served as hot as expected.
Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
The restaurant was packed (our booking was for 8.15pm) and it was very loud. The tables were squashed together and there was no room for the wait staff to walk around freely.
I would love to visit again at a quieter time.

I ordered eye fillet, after waring around 40 minutes it came and tasted like fish! It was horrible, I told the staff about it and the said they would make a new one for me. Waited for another 50 minutes while everyone else had finished their food on the table, only for the second eye fillet ALSO to taste like fish! My partner tasted too and confirmed it tasted super fishy. If you are charging 60+ for a steak at least make sure it doesn’t taste like fish. I don’t know how this happened but I recommend this place to fix it, it’s really bad.
Otherwise the other food seemed fine.

Suited to a more mature pallet.
Food was just average, and they don’t really like accommodating to food allergies or requirements.

Had a wonderful family dinner night with helpful staff and a great atmosphere. While the entree was enjoyable, the main course left a bit to be desired. The medium-rare steak lacked juiciness, and the mushroom sauce felt cold. The oven-baked fish, though expectedly flavorful, had a thin sauce that made it resemble steamed fish. Despite these critiques, the overall experience, excluding the main course, was satisfactory.
