We finally made it out to Bistro Eleven Sixty for dinner. In a Saturday night at 5:45, it was about half full (they do take reservations!) and the atmosphere was pleasant. Playing oldies (70s) in the background and several screens playing sports and old Superman TV show, but it was not loud, like so many restaurants that have nothing to absorb sound. We had a wonderful server, Spencer, whom you should ask for. He gave us some great service and suggestions. The menu was varied and really not as $$$ as I was expecting! They brought out warm bread, which was delicious! We ordered the meatball appetizer and it was delicious! Ihad the risotto, which was good (shrimp was excellent), but spicier than I liked (should have read more carefully!) and my husband got the pasta with the mustard sauce, which he really enjoyed. All entrees come with either house or Caesar salad, we got Caesar and it was great with fresh shavings of Parmesan. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu and it was fabulous! All in all, we highly recommend this place and will be back!

The food at the bistro was better last year before it closed for what seems like an entire year… The eggplant is not as good as it used to be. I ordered a pasta that I could not eat because it had so much pepper! Black pepper. Then I ordered another dish and couldn’t eat it because there was literally what seemed to be an entire jar of garlic in it. To be fair, I am a picky eater, and I don’t eat meat, but my husband will eat anything that isn’t moving, and he agrees with me. The dishes he has gotten have been overly seasoned every single time. I don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings, but whoever is cooking needs to just relax and quit trying so hard because they are completely over salting, peppering, seasoning, and garlic-ing everything. We go for the drinks and the excellent bar service, and all of the workers are great and the atmosphere is very nice. I just miss the food before they shut down and then reopened.

Awesome little spot and the best pasta I’ve had south of the Mason Dixon line. Rigatoni with sausage was damn good. The bread was really nice, and the lemon cake was exceptional. Service was great as well.
There’s a pasta spot down the road I reviewed a while back (Old Town Spaghetti or such). Whoever is doing the menu at this bistro should go down the road and help those folks out.

Is it open…is it closed? Who knows, certainly not Google maps! Says its open but if you call nobody answers…door is locked so thats a giveaway. Why not put up a sign that says closed? We tried to visit several months ago and spoke to a lady who was going in and out of the door who claimed they were reopening soon…maybe her version of soon equates to 5 or 6 months from now ♂️

Great food and wine selection. Have never heard the live music though. When is the live entertainment?

Waited an hour in an empty restaurant for raw fish. Service was horrible, appetizers and other dishes very mediocre.
